Biography

I am an actor with a Bachelor's Degree in Drama (Specialising in Voice) from the Univerisity of Pretoria. I am also a Lessac Voice Practioner working towards becoming a Certified Voice Trainer through the Leesac Voice Institute in the USA. I've done films, series, and dubbing work in South Africa and love flexing my creative muscles on any new projects. Whether non-fiction or fiction I will bring the same amount of joy and pride to every project I take on. I can do the Standard American, Southern American, British RP, London, Irish, Dutch, and Afrikaans accents in English. I also speak English, Afrikaans, and a little Zulu.

Interests and hobbies

Adventure!
Literature and fantasy in every media form.
I enjoy being outdoors and living wild just as much as I do dressing up and living in luxury.
My hobbies are dancing and painting, although I've tried mosaic, archery and hiking.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I'm an introvert with a gift for people. I love a good adventure and working hard but then need a little rest too.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

I love a deadline as it makes me better and drives me toward something. I have worked with editors (video) and directors as an actor so I know how to work in a feedback process to create the best possible product. I like working in long sessions with proper rest periods in between rather than short bursts with more regular breaks. I will ask a lot of questions as I want to fully understand what is expected and do your vision justice.

Why should you choose me for your project

I am passionate about my work and doing audiobooks is something I can put all my skills into. I am driven to make people happy and will be open to comments, suggestions, and critique without falling apart. I put a high value on trust and keeping a healthy creative environment.
