Shiva Das

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

I completed a bachelor's degree in painting, which sharpened my skills in visual storytelling and character design. I’ve worked as a freelance storyboard artist for multiple animation studios and on various children’s book projects and comic book illustrations, where I contributed to both the visual narrative and character creation.

Interests and hobbies

I love experimenting with sculpting in ZBrush, combining it with my digital painting skills to create 3D characters and props. I am passionate about exploring new art mediums, especially blending traditional painting with digital illustration techniques. Language learning fascinates me, and I enjoy using my multilingual skills to explore diverse cultures. In my free time, I love sketching characters and environments for potential comic book ideas or concept art projects.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

My curiosity drives me to constantly learn and improve, and I’m detail-oriented, always seeking to enhance my work while embracing new perspectives and approaches.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

Each project is an opportunity for storytelling, and I work to create immersive and visually compelling experiences that resonate with the audience.

Why should you choose me for your project

I genuinely love what I do, and I think that shows in the care and effort I put into each piece of work.
