Good at talking, but bad at talking about myself. Helping to bring your written words to life.
Biography
I'm fairly new to professional voice work after years of using it for customer service and in-house training videos. I took some courses from Closing Credits for voice work and some vocal coaching, and I've been doing some projects through Casting Call Club and ACX. My primary focus has been on long-form narration and audiobooks. My vocal style is low and warm, and I'm happy to take direction to provide a polished finished product.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
After decades of honing my "customer service phone voice" through various sales positions, I decided to take the dive into voice work. I took some courses with Closing Credits and got some great coaching from some excellent voice coaches. Since then I have put my voice to many audiobooks.
Interests and hobbies
Cooking and breadmaking (I'm the proud parent of a very vigorous sourdough starter), and in the winter I'm in a curling league.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
Typically chill, but with intensity and focus. If you find One Of Those Topics, it's hard to get me to stop talking.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I always want to provide the best work I can for my customers, while at the same time looking to learn from every new book and interaction.
Why should you choose me for your project
I will approach your words with the best read I can, and I'm more than happy to take direction.

Dan has done an excellent job of narrating. I am Spanish and I do not speak English perfectly, however, I have understood the entire audio perfectly, which shows the clarity when it comes to narrating. The tone of voice and everything else is perfect for my book.

Dan's work is by far the best. He exceeded my expectations when working on my project. Not only did he work fast and provide me with a highly polished audio version of my book sooner than I anticipated but but was friendly and professional to work with. My book falls under the Business and Money category which can be tedious to read at the best of times but with Dan's beautiful voice and fantastic expression the audio version holds the listener's attention.

Dan did a great job reading my non-fiction book. His voice was strong throughout the performance. He was clear and expressive, and his cadence and phrasing were on point. I will not hesitate to work with Dan again.

Working with Dan for the 2nd time is as effective and collaborative as it was the 1st time. He's got a great narration voice and is willing to go the extra mile. He proved this when the platform to which I'm uploading my book turned awkward about specs, and Dan did the necessary tweeking to ensure compliance. This is very reassuring.
