Michelle McKinney

Biography

Hi all! I am really excited for this opportunity to work with writers and works of all kinds. I've edited science textbooks, manuscripts, short stories, and adoption articles. I love fantasy, mystery, and action, but I'm open to all kinds of genres. If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Looking forward to working with y'all:)

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English and have worked on all types of fiction including magazine articles, school papers, and a thesis. Additionally, I wrote for almost two years for a national company focused on real estate and have written and edited for a YouTube channel.

Interests and hobbies

I love the outdoors, reading, writing, and making fun of terrible movies with friends.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I am dedicated to everything I do. Once I decide on a course, and after much research and organizing, I will stick to my plan as much as possible.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

I put forth every effort, checking the smallest of things and making sure that every detail has been checked and confirmed, as well as dedicating an appropriate of time to each project, both personally and professionally.

Why should you choose me for your project

I do my best to make sure that updates happen as needed, whether it's a simple, "checking with the author about some facts" or a bigger question concerning the content, I want to be sure that everyone feels satisfied with the finished project. I check each reference, both in the book and in the reference list, making sure that if a reader wishes to double-check anything, they can feel confident that the author knows what they are talking about.
