Special editing operations commando

Biography

Here is my story in a nutshell: I am an engineer and I have worked as a contracted researcher in various science and technology projects. Contributing to research articles and polishing the documents before submitting them for publication, has been an indispensable part of my work. Over the years I realized that writing and revising until attaining perfection, fascinated me even more than research itself. Eventually, editing won me over and indulged me into thinking about engaging in it as a profession. My role as an editor here at TUW, grants me the satisfaction of doing what I like as well as interacting with some really cool people.

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

Decades long experience in editing demanding articles, reports, presentations, mostly about science and engineering—but also a miscellany of other kinds of text.

Interests and hobbies

Reading, theater, movies, singing, dancing, workouts, computer programming.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

Tolerant, lenient, easygoing, getting along with people. Ruthless, relentless, merciless, unforgiving when it comes to text flaws.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

Send special editing operation units to eliminate obvious and not so obvious mistakes. Then, deploy linguistic artillery and shell text passages amenable to improvement, until customer satisfaction.

Why should you choose me for your project

For my dogged determination to complete the job and deliver an impeccable document, as well as my night vision that uncovers mistakes nearly invisible to the untrained eye.
