Asian American Voice Artist and Audiobook Narrator

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

I graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts Dance, Minor in Writing. I've performed with outstanding theater and dance companies including the Caravan Stage, and the Silk Road Dance Company, to name a few. The artistry and technical learning experiences have enriched me. It inspired me to create my own dance event company, DC Hippodrome Variety Show, Ent. I've run dance shows through the company for the last ten years.
I gained experience with voice acting through my longstanding performance career as an entertainer and live event artist. Several years ago, I began networking with voice artists in pursuit of finding more information about audiobook production. As an avid reader, voice acting piqued my interest and I began attending webinars and classes for voice artists. My journey connected me to multiple platforms where I belong to several communities of voice actors.
Within the last year, through consistent auditions, I've landed jobs and produced five audiobooks that are now available on several audiobook platforms. I have projects with the same authors. This is a testament to my working relationship and quality of work. I have a professional home studio with an XLR mic and work through Audacity for recording.

Interests and hobbies

I love anything creative like watercolor painting, sketching, and dance - particularly cultural dances like Hawaiian Hula, and writing. I'm currently working on three children's books inspired by my kids which I plan on illustrating as well. Besides that, I try to read as much as possible. My interests in genres range from nonfiction to fantasy to horror. I also enjoy inspirational memoirs.
I have three dogs, five chickens, and a turtle. My entire family helps with the animals at home. I love taking hikes with my family and am a Master Naturalist. Boating is my favorite outdoor activity.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I wish I could live on the water. I want to witness my kids' lives into my nineties.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

I choose projects that I am passionate about. I always want to exceed people's expectations. I usually turn projects over way ahead of schedule, but it's also concise and quality. I work around my littlest one's schedule, so voiceover narration has been working very well for my life.

Why should you choose me for your project

I am a narrator who can perform. I am always working on improving my skills, both as an interpreter for creative work and technically as a sound editor. I work consistently, passionately, and steadily. This method has fared very well for both me and my clients. Thank you for considering me for your project.
