Biography
Language arts have always been close to my heart. For me, editing is more than just a job—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. With four years of professional editing experience and a certification to back my skills, I’m confident in my ability to bring out the best in your work. Beyond technical expertise, I have a knack for helping your material shine in its best light. I’m excited about the chance to work together and would love to help take your project to the next level!
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
For the last six or so years, I have enjoyed working in my dream career as I help authors refine their content.
I have been working with the Urban Writers since February 2023, and I enjoy every piece that I take on because I truly love having the chance to discover so many stories and be a part of sharing them with the world.
I have obtained a Business Fundamentals certificate, which has helped me specialize in finance, business, and entrepreneurship, and other non-fiction orders. This certificate has also taught me how content can be targeted to specific audiences to increase sales.
My other specialization is fiction, specifically romance novels, because I have been pouring through them since I discovered the YA section. I am always eager to read another one and provide my expertise!
Interests and hobbies
I'm certain there are others here who share my love for reading! Personally, I'm drawn to romance, but I'm also a fan of historical fiction, mystery, and science fiction. Creative writing and journaling are also hobbies of mine. When I'm not lost in a book or writing, you might catch me cross-country skiing in the winter or swimming in nearby lakes during the summer.

I’m a friendly, laid-back person who loves animals, the outdoors, and finding joy in the little things. I genuinely enjoy making people smile and try to bring a warm, positive energy into both my work and everyday life.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I love working as an editor, and I approach every project I take on with excitement because I am always eager to learn new things or dive into another story.
I treat each order with respect and try to view it as a potential reader would, searching for plot holes or inconsistencies and brainstorming ways that might make it more enjoyable. I also like to ask a few questions about who you think might want to read your book so it can be targeted to a successful market. After all, everyone wants to be a best selling author, right?
