Helping Authors Turn Manuscripts into Polished, Publish-Ready Books
Biography
I am a former teacher and lifelong learner with a passion for books and language. Over the years, I have guided students and authors alike, helping them shape their ideas and express them clearly. I now work as an editor, proofreader, and book formatter for both fiction and nonfiction, bringing care, curiosity, and creativity to every project. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exploring the natural world, and pursuing hands-on creative projects such as crafting and sewing.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have a background in science, French, and education, with over fifteen years of experience teaching and guiding authors through the writing process. My professional experience equips me to help writers refine their manuscripts while preserving their unique voice and style. I’ve worked with authors at all levels, providing support that ensures clarity, consistency, and a professional finish.
Interests and hobbies
I love reading, especially romance novels, and enjoy curling up outdoors with a good book. I also enjoy baking, crafting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and finding creative ways to repurpose everyday items. Lately, I’ve been exploring the natural world and the benefits of simple, intentional living, which inspires how I approach both work and life.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I am calm, dependable, and conscientious, approaching life and work with care and focus. I enjoy exploring ideas and working thoughtfully with others to see them come to life.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I see editing and formatting as a partnership with the author, guiding them while respecting their voice and vision. My goal is to help writers refine their manuscripts with thoughtful suggestions and careful attention to clarity, structure, and style. I strive to make the process collaborative, efficient, and stress-free, ensuring each book reaches its full potential.
Why should you choose me for your project
I am reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality results for every project I take on. I enjoy wordsmithing and helping authors shape their ideas into polished, professional manuscripts. Choosing me means working with someone who takes your work seriously, respects your vision, and is committed to helping your book succeed.
