Hi there!

I'm Rachel, a multi-hyphenate with a passion for helping clients craft compelling stories to reach their audiences across a variety of platforms. My journey began with a passion for language and a degree in literature. With more than 14 years of experience serving organizations across the Americas (and an aversion to missing deadlines), I've built a dedicated client base that relies on me to get their message across successfully.

In May of 2021, I began freelancing with the aim of helping clients craft compelling stories to engage their audiences across a variety of platforms. I provide effective communication strategies and engaging content for clients across various industries, including sustainable development, telecommunications, and cultural development.

*Copywriting and Copyediting Services for: Wrote and edited engaging copy for Templet, as well as a number of their clients across the Americas.
*Copywriting and Copyediting Services for C&W Business (a Templet client): Created and edited engaging and effective copy for the new C&W Business website as part of the company's ongoing regional rebrand. Distilled technical documentation into text appropriate for the targeted B2B audience, seamlessly integrating feedback from various divisions within C&W Business.
*Copywriting and Strategic Communication Services for the Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC): Provided strategic communications consulting and copywriting services for TAPSEC/Cli-RES, which supported CARIFORUM’s sustainable energy transition by assisting regional organizations in their efforts to increase and improve access to modern, affordable, and sustainable energy services that can withstand the effects of climate change.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of the West Indies, and I leverage 14 years of experience in the areas of corporate communications, public relations, digital project management, website management, and digital content production with a variety of local, regional, and international organizations to work collaboratively with all clients across an assortment of industries.

Interests and hobbies

My hobbies include reading, watching movies and TV, light hiking, and delicious food. Fortunately for me, the Caribbean is a lovely place to enjoy all of the above.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

When it comes to my work, I'd describe myself as diligent and driven, as well as a bit of a perfectionist. Aside from that, I'm an independent spirit with a preference for peaceful solitude.
