The Whispering Chris

Headline

BBC Broadcaster for over 30 years. Experienced narrator and voice actor - warm and characterful. I'm new here, try me!

Biography

I've been a professional radio broadcaster for many years, hosting live shows in major UK markets from sunrise to sunset! Most of my career has been with the BBC, but I 've also worked in commercial radio and TV. From a young age, radio became my friend. The pictures painted by words, brought to life by the human voice, captivated me. I was determined to make audio my life. I did.

In addition to presenting music and news shows for the BBC - I've written, produced and narrated training videos for the Corporation and numerous podcasts.

A passion for cartoons and comedy, I've also featured as the voice of numerous characters for a satirical series on Virgin in-flight radio. I'm adaptable; anything from serious to silly! I'm looking forward to brining your project to life.

My home studio features pro audio gear, including Neumann TLM 103 mic and Audient Pre-Amps.
