Captivating Custom Book Covers That Sell Your Story
Biography
Hey there! 😊 I'm a highly experienced graphic designer with a real passion for creativity! I love what I do, and I'm so excited to work with you! I have a ton of experience in digital media, and I'm always bursting with energy to come up with powerful design concepts that will truly impress you and your audience. My strong work ethic and excellent time management skills ensure that I can deliver fantastic results for my clients. I can't wait to put my expertise to work and create some absolutely stunning and eye-catching covers just for you! Let's make something amazing together! 🎨🌟
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I've been on quite an exciting graphic design journey for the past ten years! Along the way, I earned a Level 5 BTEC Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design, which has been instrumental in honing my skills and passion for this creative field. On top of that, I've also spent two and a half years specifically focused on cover design, which has been an incredible adventure in itself!
Interests and hobbies
I absolutely love exploring various interests that bring joy to my life! 🌟 Movies, anime, rock music, and comic books are just a few things that really enjoy and immerse myself in. I'm always open to discovering new passions that light up my world!
When it comes to hobbies, one of my favorite pastimes is playing video games. It's a fantastic way for me to unwind and have some fun. I mostly enjoy playing casually, but sometimes I like to take on a bit of friendly competition to add an extra thrill!
Life is all about finding what makes us happy, and I'm constantly on the lookout for exciting new things to enjoy. 😄🎮
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I have a pretty reserved and laid back personality, a real go-with-the-flow type. Although I'm generally the wallflower in most situations, when I'm in the right setting with people I'm comfortable with, I can be the life of the party.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
When it comes to my work, I love to blend the best of both worlds – creativity and strategy! This winning combination not only lets me produce top-notch, high-quality results, but it also enables me to forge meaningful connections with my awesome customers. I'm all about understanding your needs and bringing my creative flair to the table to craft something truly special. Together, we'll create a masterpiece that not only meets your expectations but goes above and beyond!
Why should you choose me for your project
You can count on me to invest the time and effort needed to produce work that not only looks fabulous but also perfectly aligns with your needs and brings your desired outcomes to life! I go above and beyond your expectations, so you can rest assured that I'll pour my heart and soul into this creative process.
Let's collaborate closely to make sure that every detail is just right, resulting in a final product that will bring a smile to your face. Your satisfaction is my ultimate reward, and I can't wait to work with you to achieve the remarkable results you've been dreaming of!

Thanks Piers for your amazing work. You put up with me making suggestions and changing my mind and then you produce the perfect design! I hope you'll be on board to work with this cover and adapt it to the workbook that we're about the start.

Thank you for a cover that is one that would cause me to pick up the book and look into reading what is inside
Teresa J. · 5.0 · April 2025
Excellent work as always! My go-to book cover designer.
Michelle R. · 4.5 · March 2025
Piers was extremely patient and willing to explore the various ideas I put forth. This is my first book and if I can offer anything from what I have learned, it's really helpful for the designer if you have a clear idea of how you want it to look before you get started. I knew what emotion I wanted to elicit but not the image and was hoping to be inspired with something unique. There were a few reviews on the cover, trying to find a fit but when I happened to find an image that I really liked, Piers made it look awesome.

Michael B. · 3.8 · June 2024
Piers is an ABOVE STANDARD, in fact EXCELLENT, Graphic Designer, though he could stand to improve on his communication skills. In his defense, though, I will admit that I am a supremely impatient customer. However, it shouldn't take 3 or 5 days for a reply to a message from a paying client, no matter who it is, full stop. Conversely, he is able to understand a client's "vision", as he did in my case, because he nailed the idea/vision I wanted in the first version of my book's cover design. Brilliant! Although I would gladly hire Piers for future book cover designs, I would do so only upon his agreement to respond to my messages within a 24-hour window. Other than that, I'd give him 4 stars

Ceije R. · 4.0 · October 2022
The cover is good, I do like it, but I wish there would have been more communication as to what options or ideas there could have been. Then again, I also think the option for selecting the cover should not be available before the completion of the writing.
