Biography
Welcome to my page ✨
My narration experience includes audiobooks on ACX/Audible, YouTube Channels, commercials, indie video games and fan dubs! I have been narrating for a few years now and am familiar with the recording and audio editing process - although adding music to my works isn't my specialty.
I am also in contract with a publishing company that produces fantasy literature whom requires a performance more than standard reading.
So, if you need that style or character - let me know and I'm the one for you!
My repertoire of works include a wide range of genres including; adult, sci-fi, Fantasy LitRPG, children's books, self-help, historical, medical, and much more!
I look forward to our voice-ful partnership ✨
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
- Featured in the short film, Dream Nails as a side character using Vietnamese
- Working with other narrators for duet/dual book publications
- 120+ audiobooks completed over multiple platforms using different names and pen names
- Certified CELTA ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher
- Bachelor's of Science in Psychology
Interests and hobbies
Besides recording till my vocal cords are fried, I love love my video games.
Past favorites are the Soul Series (Sekiro to be precise!), West of Loathing and Shadows over Loathing, and absolutely loving Persona 3 Remake at the moment.
Am currently in Japan temporarily and love to scream "OraOraOra" against my husband at the top of my lungs.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
Uhh...I work hard and like to play games...? AKA: I live in a closet with my PC, recording equipment and "unwavering dedication".
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I don't like to have a deadline sit and not work on it. When I receive any orders or requests from RHs (Rights Holders) or Publishers, I work on it to the best of my ability and create a timeline in which I can always finish early with plenty of time for editing.
I have also worked with many new self-published authors patiently and have guided them throughout the ACX progress.
Why should you choose me for your project
I understand that your project is your baby!
I will work with you to bring your story to life and fine-tune my voice to match the pitches that you need for the general narration and all of the characters in your book. I also have connections to narrators with a much larger repertoire that have advised me on how to bring the audio quality on Audacity to its best to match my voice.
I will revise, edit and work with you to re-record sections as needed. (Just don't be requesting the same chapter to be re-recorded 5+ times please...!)

This narrator is amazing. Her work is professional and sounds fantastic. I needed an American sounding female for my book and her delivery was better than I imagined. Her communication was excellent and she helped me through the process. There were only a few minor edits I needed in the revision process and they were delivered quickly and efficiently. I had a personal emergency at the end of our time working together so my communication to her was lacking and she was still very nice about it. I hope I get to work with her again in the future!

Melli was lovely to work with - very professional and super fast, attending to requests for changes promptly. Melli's method of copying both my notes and hers, with time stamps, is very helpful to keep track of changes so that you can go straight to the amended part of the file. Great research too with difficult pronunciations, including snippets of foreign languages. I'm so impressed that I've immediately commissioned her to narrate my next audiobook project!

Melli has a wonderful voice as a Narrator. She is clear, easy to understand, no regional accent and she puts emotion and interest into her voice. She read with understanding and at times I felt as if she read my mind as to what kind of inflection to use for a particular phrase. I could not be more pleased or grateful for her work on my book.
