A book lover with an eye for editing

Biography

I graduated from Saint Mary's College of California in 2017, with a degree in sociology and a minor in English. I honed my writing and editing skills during my time in college, where I took courses on a variety of subjects such as global migration, the sociology of film, wealth and poverty, linguistics, and 19th- and 20th-century American literature. I also took several service-learning courses where I worked with underserved children in the community. After graduating, I worked as a behavior therapist for children with autism and as a paraeducator for students with special needs.

Interests and hobbies

First and foremost, I am an avid reader of books of all genres. You will often find me at the used bookstore of my local library, browsing the shelves and returning home with bags full of books. I'm also a big fan of puzzles, both jigsaw and word. I love a good game show and am a daily viewer of Jeopardy. I'm a musical theater nerd and love to see shows whenever I can. Finally, I love spending time outside and take walks in my neighborhood every day.
