Biography

holds an Honours Bachelor's of Creative Writing & Publishing from Sheridan College, and has studied in both the United States and Canada.

Originally from Kentucky, moved to Canada in 2019 to pursue her dreams of becoming an author and publisher. After growing up in the foothills of Appalachia, she has a special interest in writing surreal horror set in deep, lonely woodland areas, where the land is old and the gods that roam - even older. She also enjoys writing happier things like romance, and her current work-in-progress is a novel that combines both the horror of the wilderness and the love that can be found in the midst of is chronically ill and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She lives in the Greater Toronto Area with her partner and their spoiled cat, Spyder.

She has worked as an editor and a ghostwriter for a number of companies and clients and is currently volunteering as an indie game tester and copyeditor while looking for full-time employment.

I hold an Honours Bachelor's of Creative Writing & Publishing from Sheridan College, and have studied in both the United States and Canada. I have worked as an editor and a ghostwriter for a number of companies and clients and am currently volunteering as an indie game tester and copyeditor for several indie game developers.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I would describe my personality as laidback and kindhearted. Most of the time, anyway -- sometimes I can get a little anxious, especially about my own work, which makes me very empathetic to the worries of my writers.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

My goal as an editor is always to help your project be the best it can be. Whether that is by polishing it up by copyediting, or helping you guide your work in a broader direction with developmental editing, I am here to help you shine. I am very careful to be kind and uplifting with my editing critiques always, because I have been on the other side, and I know that deep down we all just want people to like what we've created.
