Biography

My mantra was firmly established in my life when I turned twenty, “It’s in my blood to get it done.”

I am passionate about words, a stickler for detail, and bringing them together to weave a description, story, or information. I have an innate sense of loyalty, am motivated, organized, and love discovering whilst learning new things.

My personal writing consists of poetry, content writing for websites and social media, advertising blurbs, presentation packs, program outlines, and lesson plans.
Writing experience for clients includes, content writing, copywriting, editing, and fact-searching articles ranging from esoteric to factual. I have a diverse range of skills for a multitude of topics that I enjoy writing about.

I thrive on having goals and will always do my utmost to achieve them. Deadlines and working under pressure to finish projects are all things that are fulfilling for me.

Apart from writing, my other skills include marketing, catering, financial and event management, program development, and facilitation of events and educational programs, have been predominant in my working life thus far.

I am actively involved in community projects and have partnerships with two dedicated charities -one for cycling and education for disadvantaged youth and the other for conservation and educational projects.

My hobbies and interests:
Writing (of course!), reading, word games, mountain biking, hiking, gardening, baking, cooking, painting, and sketching, creativity, and crafts, being in nature, traveling, traveling and exploring different places are some of my hobbies and interests.

I have many favorite authors, but to whittle it down to just few they have to be, Tracy Chevalier, Joanne Harris, Sebastian Faulks, and Bryce Courtney.

My daily goal is to find something to smile about every day—without fail.

My favorite comedian is Spike Milligan. I love his famous words, “When logic fails, use nonsense.” as a reminder to laugh, have fun, work hard, be authentic, and above all, smile.

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

I own an outdoor adventure and teambuilding business that I established in 2004 which now operates independently allowing me to pursue my passion for freelancing remote working opportunities.

My love of writing has developed into an extra source of income since 2015. Prior to this, I have been involved in the hospitality trade and in the educational sector which paved the way for me to have a balanced view and experience of what it takes when offering my services to make people happy.

Interests and hobbies

I love mountain biking, hiking, outdoor adventure, traveling and exploring, having new experiences, reading, writing poetry, sketching, being creative, cooking, gardening, playing with my dogs, and being a slave to my cats.

My family is the most important thing in my life and having good friendships with each other and valued time together cannot be measured.

Life is for living, being fulfilled, and being happy.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I am a happy person, creative, sensitive, motivated, and love a challenge! I have a dry sense of humor and have a daily goal of always finding something to smile about no matter how rough a day might have been.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

Any work that I take on, I do so with one hundred percent commitment to finish what I start and to give it my all. I maintain a high sense of professionalism but at the same time keep it friendly and caring.

Ghost writing to me is a personal journey with the customer to give them a book that they feel they have written through me.

Why should you choose me for your project

I am pragmatic and can work autonomously, or in various team compositions. My ability to research a variety of different subjects due to my inquiring mind, plus having the knack of being able to sort through the irrelevant information that crops up during research, is a gift I am blessed with.

When I first started ghostwriting, I was a little wary of the research I would have to do but now have the confidence to be able to write about virtually anything. I will give you my full attention, communicate regularly, listen to what you are asking for, and ask questions if I need clarity.

At the end of working together on your project, my goal would be to present your book to you with what you had envisaged.
