Biography
Hello there,
My name is Grace Cardinal and I am a Top tiered writer here at The Urban Writers! Since I was a kid, I've loved writing and creating content for others to enjoy. It would be an honor to work on your project because I am a huge believer in the power of collaboration and it would bring me joy to see your project completed, after all, I truly believe that teamwork DOES make the dream work. Not only would I be able to provide a unique approach to your concept that others would not, but I write efficiently and quickly to give me time to proofread my work before sending it to the editor. Although I am a perfectionist, I understand that this is your project and I will see it through until the end of the revision count so that the final product meets your satisfaction!
I am well versed in APA 7th style format and in addition to non-fiction writing, I also find myself to be very passionate about fiction writing as well. I self-published a novel trilogy in 2013 and 2014 that made the best seller list in eight countries for Kindle download.
I look forward to working with you! Warm regards and a socially distanced hug to you!
Kindly,
Grace Cardinal

Preface to a Dystopian Fiction
The year was 2089 in Providence 14 of Newmerica when I woke up and unknowingly began the last day of my old life. The civil war mentioned in what history books referred to as the United States happened half a century ago, but the loss of our brothers and sisters was still a touchy subject for most of the elders in the providences. However, most of them were rewarded with an overwhelming amount of social security from the Founders and that proved to be enough to silence their complaints. The Founders are a group of twenty-five people who are from the same families that led the rebellion afte...

My sense of smell returned to me first, and with it came a sweet smell that reminded me of my grandmother's homemade saltwater taffy. As gradual as one would fall asleep, my other senses followed next with my sense of touch as my back laid firmly pressed against a cool, metal table and although the surface that I laid on was hard, the scent of nostalgia tickled my nose hairs brought me comfort. The sound of a high-pitched frequency pierced my eardrums, but again, it wasn't unpleasant. It reminded me of a sound similar to the crystal singing bowls I'd seen displayed in the old metaphysics st...

What is a Parallel Universe? “Parallel universes, also known as meta-universes or multiverses, are a group of theoretical twin universes that coexist at the same time as our own.” (Bocco, 2021). To further explain the concept of a parallel universe, close your eyes and visualize two parallel lines in your mind. The lines, no matter how close or far apart they are, look the same and follow the same path; however, they are not the same and are two different lines. Now, consider each line to be a copy and pasted version of reality. Just think for a moment. You can have ongoing parallel...

What are Lizard People? Lizard people is a somewhat humorous term when considering the possibility that there are more species on our planet than just human beings. Many followers of the Alien Theory believe that multiple species of intellectual beings reside and visit our planet that comes from the stars. Those people believe that there are both benevolent and malevolent beings that come from the stars, and a certain group that has been labeled as Lizard people can also be referred to as theorists of extraterrestrial life as Reptilian, reptoids, or draconian (Scarenormal, 2020). Qui...

Situational and Contingency Leadership: A Closer Look at Susan B. Anthony Susan B. Anthony was and always will be a historical icon who paved the way for women’s rights. On June 19th, 1873 Anthony was found guilty of fraudulent voting in the 1872 Presidential election in front of an all-male council (Glass, 2018). Anthony exudes a leader with the styling of being transformed and following along with the contingency approach when it comes to leadership. “The essence of a contingency approach to leadership is that leaders are most effective when they make their behavior contingent on situa...

Behind the desk at the check-in counter was an elderly couple that I assumed to be husband and wife. They greeted Michael and me with warm smiles while nodding their head. “Ciao avremmo lke una camera per la notte,” Michael said with in perfect Italian. By this point, I wasn’t surprised. He had told me earlier that he knew eight different languages, and I had heard four already—English, German, French, and Italian. Smiling, the little old lady handed Michael a key and nodded towards the spiral staircase behind her. “Grazie Bella, signore,” Michael chimed, nodding towards the wom...
The Snow Globe
Squeak. That’s the sound the attic ladder makes to let us all know it’s time to wake up from our long seasonal nap. What is a season? I’m not too sure; all I know is that it’s going to start snowing again in the little dome world in which I live. My legs never tire although I can’t even sit down, and to my right, I greet my Polar Bear friend with a wink; his fur nearly blends into the ceramic snow of our home. I don’t have a name, or so I assume, I have no memory of one if I do. Around me standing tall and festive are bare Christmas trees, they too are dusted with ceramic snow that re...
