With over fifteen years of professional writing experience, I've worked across both fiction and nonfiction genres. My publications include an informational book with Bloomsbury, two flash fiction chapbooks with an independent press, several children's books with Scholastic, and numerous ghostwritten novels!
I hold degrees in Graphic Design, English/Creative Writing, and Library Science, and have taught creative writing and tutored at a writing center. My expertise covers literary fiction, romance, young adult novels, mysteries, suspense, series, informational texts, self-help books, parenting articles, essays, and memoirs. I also specialize in outlining—whether it's a standalone book or an entire series, I can help craft a strong, cohesive plan.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography with my Nikon dSLR and Lomo Instant Automat and reading, of course! I especially love reading romance, suspense, thrillers, cozy mysteries, young adult books, and humorous essays (think David Sedaris).

I have degrees in Graphic Design, English, Creative Writing, and Library Science. I've worked as a freelance writer for over 15 years, writing novels, short story collections, informational books, articles, blog posts, research papers, ebooks, book reviews, and more. I have a background as a writing center tutor at a university, as well as years in public and school libraries.
Interests and hobbies
I love reading and writing, of course! I also love paper quilling and getting outside as much as possible. I've worked as a photographer and social media manager, and love finding unique, engaging ways to share art and stories with others.

My friends call me a human card catalog - I love researching topics, sharing interesting facts, and keeping things organized! But I also know when to cut loose and have fun.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I've very organized and love to do a lot of background research to really understand the depth of a project. I like finding books and articles and making notes on paper. I've found that outlining projects on notecards help so much because you can shuffle them around and unlock the key to something amazing! Interestingly enough, with my own fiction writing, I'm a pantser! I contain multitudes.

I love to write about various topics and am always ready for a challenge! I love the excitement of writing a fiction novel because I can envision how the reader will feel as they turn each page. For nonfiction work, I conduct in-depth research to ensure I'm sharing quality knowledge from the best sources.
