Biography

"To die will be an awfully big adventure." - J.M. Barrie

My name is Lorelei Ayres and I am thrilled to finally have my dream of writing come to life!

As a recent graduate with an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing, I am excited to use the skills that I learned in the program towards my writing.

I have loved reading and writing from a young age and used to make up all kinds of nonsense stories that I filled in pages of notebooks that I still have all of these years later. I always had a high-level reading skill as I loved devouring books and read through them quickly while grasping everything on the page. I love getting hooked on a storyline and just letting the world melt away as the story unfolds right before my very own eyes.

Having a passion for writing is something that I have always had and I am so glad to be able to share this passion with the world. I am more than happy to use this to help bring your thoughts and ideas to life!

Some of the niches I can/have written are:
FICTION
-Young-Adult
-Teen
-Fantasy
-High-Fantasy
-Urban Fantasy
-Dystopian
-Apocalyptic
-Espionage
-Thriller/Suspense
-Short Story
-Romance
-Erotica

The floor is icy cold to the touch and, when I look back up, I see a shadow hovering over me. I scramble backward and hit a wall, looking around to see that I’m in some sort of metal holding facility. “What the fuck...

Number 66

“Good morning, Persephone,” my nurse says as she walks through the door. “Good morning,” I mutter, drowsily sitting up. “Did you sleep well, sweetie?” She asks as she checks me over. “Yeah…” I mumble. “That’s good.” “What’s the plan for today?” “Today you have group therapy at 11 o’clock and then you have a doctor's appointment at 2,” she says as she finishes and sends me a smile. “Okay,” I say and she nods and leaves. I sigh and fall back onto the bed. The lights above me flicker and I narrow my eyes at them. It was weird for a hospital to be having electrical problems. (i...
