My name is Raven, and reading and writing are my two central passions. I enjoy teaching Creative Writing and tutoring in English as well. Excellent skills in Research, Sales and Customer Service are second nature to me. Time management is my best friend. I am ever observant, paying particular attention to detail, and you can rely on me to get the job done on time, every time. I have diplomas in Business, Creative Writing, Library Sciences, Sales and Management, Cosmetology and Aesthetics.
I have been writing since the tender age of five years old - short stories, letters, poetry, articles, song lyrics, and of course, novels are what light my soul on fire. Each one has a unique importance in my world. My road has been long, with many challenges along the way, which have enriched my life and my writing.
My other interests are hiking, weight training, aerobic dancing, cross-stitching, baking, cooking, traveling, and gardening.
My passion is words, plain and simple, whether it be writing, reading, or researching. My favorite fiction genres include:

Interests and hobbies
1. Reading - I'm always reading a novel, usually several at once. I enjoy Stephen King, Anne Rice, John Saul, Nora Roberts, J.D Robb, Paula Hawkins, Vicky Delaney, Ellery Adams, and JK Rowling, to name a few. I am also always reading books on refining my craft.
2. Traveling - I enjoy exploring new places all over our beautiful planet - this also helps to enrich my writing ability and refresh my energy levels.
3. Exercise - I am an avid hiker and love cycling, swimming, weight training, aerobics, and dancing - I like to keep healthy as writing is a very sedentary job.
4. Meditation - I love spending time in nature meditating, camping, and nature walks to keep my spirit happy, so my creative juices can flow.
5. Family & Friends - I love spending time with my family and friends making special memories
6. Games - I love playing any kind of game, board games, cards, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords - anything to keep the mind flexing
7. Arts & Crafts - I love cross-stitching, scrapbooking, and playing with playdough!

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I am a very passionate person who takes extreme care in every area of my life, and being recognized for a job well done is what I strive for. Communication is the very key to my soul, and I love to exercise that skill by writing engaging and entertaining stories.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I like to be in full communication with my customers and fellow freelancers so that together we can flesh out a refined and polished work of art. I love bouncing ideas off each other during the process to ensure the finished product is nothing short of a great success. I listen to the suggestions of those I'm working with and can take advice without hurt feelings. Teamwork makes the dream work is my motto.
