Biography
Hello there. I am Didianna and I am known for having a head filled with useless, but interesting information. I am filled with curiosity and I am a firm believer that one can never know enough.
I have a keen interest in criminal psychology and I am pursuing my studies in this field to live out one of my passions: to be the voice of the voiceless and become a specialist as victim impact witness for animals against their abusers.
On the other side of the spectrum, I love horror stories, not limiting my interest to Stephen King and Joe Hill, but including those horrors that history brought us and horrors we have experienced in our own personal past.
Joan Rivers and her male counterpart, Bianca del Rio, round off my multi-faceted personality with a wicked sense of humor: after all, without laughter, how will we survive the horror that life has become since 2020?
Books? Articles? Theses? Where do I start? I am an avid reader, but, then again, you would expect nothing less of the person you are looking for to bring your book or article to life. I am a generous person, but if there is one thing I never loan out, it is a book. Books are my holy grail. I do not even own a television set. The reason is simple, no image on a screen, big or small, can compare to the vivid image I form in my own little grey film projector when I read.
In my senior year, when I was 18, I failed an essay test. I could not understand it, I am smart darn-it! I am used to obtaining distinctions in both my language courses and suddenly I receive a failing mark? Once I got control of my hysteria at the failing mark, I went to discuss the issue with my teacher. It turns out, she did not understand the essay! This was in 1989, shortly after the advent of HIV when ignorance about the disease still ran rampant. I am proud to say that I had to educate a teacher on the clinical research (not to mention the fact that an idiom was also not understood by said teacher), and I received the mark I deserved: going from a failing grade to a distinction.
Since then, my passion for writing went untethered. I have obtained qualifications and certifications in:-
* Journalism
* Philosophy
* Basic legal background
* Extensive labor law experience
* Criminology
* Psychology
I was fortunate enough to be granted the opportunities to:-
* Publish my own weekly column on labor law in a regional publication
* Publish two reviews in a national magazine, one on glamping and another on private sector service delivery
* Publish an article for fundraising for a large animal rescue centre in a national quarterly magazine
* Ghost write a series of psychological thriller short stories for various self-published authors
* Assist with content writing on holistic self-help books
* Co-authoring various comedy blurbs for blogs
I would love to be a cog in your mind machine; to bring your thoughts and ideas to life; to share your story with the world, whether it be:-
* Memoirs/autobiographical in nature
* Criminological or suspense writing (both fiction and non-fiction)
* Psychology and self-help
* Historical texts
* Animal related content, whether scientific-, behavioral-, or simply anecdotal in nature
* Script writing
* Academic

My sister wants to play
My sister keeps bothering me when I am in my room trying to read or get critical work done. She is constantly tugging on my sleeve to come ply with her outside and bouncing her ball against my furniture until I just want to give up and go play with her outside. What's holding me back, is that she never wanted to play with me when she was alive.
Being bipolar
"Don't bother with her: she's just being bipolar today." "She's a liar, she's a thief, and she's bipolar; I will destroy her." Being bipolar is not a choice. Losing your temper to a blind rage, is not a choice. Feeling worthless because your bipolar disorder leeches into your brain, affecting your ability to function normally on a daily basis, is not a choice. Having to visit your psychiatrist sometimes twice per year to have your medication adjusted just so that you can function in "normal" society, is not a shameful act. Realizing that you cannot control everything and everyone arou...
