Biography
I have been working as a freelance writer for a few years now. Endlessly curious and a complete information sponge I adore researching new topics. It doesn't matter how seemingly niche or "out there" a topic is, I can write on it with authority.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have been freelance writing for several years now. Most of my experience has been in the gaming, technology, and history niches. I have also written hundreds of book reviews and written a fair few business articles.
Before becoming a full-time writer I worked as a foreign English teacher at a university in Istanbul.
I possess a B.A. in Literature and History from the University of Manchester.
Interests and hobbies
I am a massive, unashamed geek. I love all things technology and gaming and am lucky enough to have made a career out of writing about the things I love. I'm also a big film and TV nerd and will happily talk for hours about both.
As a literature graduate, I love reading and am guilty of binge-reading whenever I take time off work. I'm an information sponge who spends far too much time reading random history and science articles as well as keeping up with current affairs.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
When working I'm a passionate, hard-working, and dedicated writer who can be a bit of a perfectionist. Outside of work, I'm a laidback geek with a sarcastic sense of humor.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I take my work very seriously. I love writing and no matter the topic, I give it my all. I value factual accuracy and enjoy researching. As an information sponge, I like to write in as many niches as possible.
