Biography
Hello! I'm a multifaceted freelance writer with a rich background in both fiction and non-fiction. My writing journey began as an English major and has evolved from crafting compelling characters and narratives in horror, fantasy, and science fiction to exploring diverse non-fiction realms, including science, home and gardening, DIY, parenting, and self-help.
In fiction, my work often interweaves elements of drama, romance, and love, creating multidimensional stories that resonate deeply with readers. I am also enthusiastic about bringing imaginative and educational tales to life for younger audiences through children's books.
A curiosity and passion for various topics drive my non-fiction writing. From the intricacies of scientific concepts, the practicalities of DIY projects, and the complexities of parenting and personal growth, my writing is informed by thorough research and a keen understanding of each subject.
My ability to adapt to various writing needs truly sets me apart. Having lived abroad and immersed myself in diverse cultures, I bring unique insights and an open-minded approach to all my work. This global perspective enriches my storytelling, whether it's in creating captivating fictional worlds or engagingly presenting factual content.
As a ghostwriter, I am deeply committed to capturing and projecting an author's voice to their intended audience. I understand the intricacies of complex storylines and the necessity of tailoring my writing style to meet specific needs. My goal is always to fulfill the author's vision to their utmost satisfaction, ensuring that each word resonates with their audience.
Let's embark on this literary adventure together. Whether it's delving into the realm of the fantastical, exploring the practicalities of everyday life, or anything in between, I am here to bring your stories and ideas to life in a way that only we can.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I'm very laid back and open-minded.
Professionally, I pride myself on punctuality and giving every project my full attention and effort.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I approach work with my full attention, care, and respect. Whether in the office or at home, I get up, prepare, and mentally clock in and out for work each day. I know for a fact that remote takes a particular discipline in one's self and the ability to critique not only your work but your approach to it. In group settings, I'm just as comfortable being a supportive team member and taking orders as I am at leading and giving them out. I like making work as fun as possible without slowing progress or causing unnecessary distractions. The world is hard enough; it's vital to maintain a respectful and, at the very least, peaceful work environment to keep the team and the clients happy.
Why should you choose me for your project
I'm passionate about everything I create but am open to criticism and trying different approaches. I'm very dedicated to my work; I always push myself to produce the best quality product possible. I am highly open to new ideas and criticism. I understand the importance of punctuality and meeting deadlines. I never stop learning and am great at working with other people. I've learned the art of mimicking certain writing styles and am confident I can help bring your voice to life. Writing is truly my greatest gift, and I love nothing more than to share it with the world, whether it is for my own creative pursuits or helping others with theirs. As a teacher and veteran, I understand the importance of being both a mentor and an active learner at the same time.

The Last Dragonfly Part 1
The hue of dawn painted the sky as the woodland village of Rutsworth stirred to life. Smoke curled from chimneys, creating a soft haze, while villagers stepped out of their homes, embarking on their daily routines. The gravel streets of the town rang with the sounds of children hurrying to school and the bustling activity of trade shops as neighbors exchanged greetings amidst their morning chores. “They’ve really pulled out all the stops this month, haven’t they?” a fieldworker remarked to his companion. They navigated through the town square, where vendors were busy setting up their stall...
Dark Reflections Part 1
The soft light of a setting sun filled the hospital room with a warm orange glow that cast a soothing ambiance of autumn. Jade sat beside the bed, her hand tenderly clasping that of the sleeping, senile old man. It felt like a small apartment rather than a hospital room, with comfy couches and upscale amenities, serving as a reminder of life's fleeting luxuries. "Everything a bedridden man needs," she whispered with a sly, melancholic smile, her finger absentmindedly caressing the slight bump in her belly. Her gaze drifted to the terrace window, watching the day's last light. The room's sh...
A Sea Apart-Short Story Ending
"Where you going?" Sam asked, trying to mask his worry. "Lindon Harbor to meet Lisa," James said. "Okay…" He paused. "But I'm not going." "That's not the plan." "Plans change …" "Why? Why are we even leaving?" James's confusion was palpable. "My job… It's complicated. People are looking for me. So, you need to go alone." "But I'm not supposed to drive the boat alone." "It's okay. That's why I taught you. You don't need me anymore." James smiled, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Yeah, you're right. I'm a better driver than you." Sam chuckled, the sound bittersweet. "Don't get cocky...
Untitled-Novel Prologue
Aaron Peters had slayed another day in the office. He closed with the Charlotte investors at 7% above the initial offer, which had earned him a meeting with his superiors the next day. Rumors swirled of a promotion with him in the top running. But the high point of his day had come that morning with the red-haired barista he'd cautiously flirted with at the local café for months. She'd given him a long look and a wink as she slid his coffee across the counter and a slice of cheesecake he hadn't ordered. "Pies on me," she'd whispered. The girl was gorgeous, but he had no heart to take it fur...
Untitled-Short Story Full
There was a stir in the room. I awoke to a cold draft of night air from a window I never opened. Sitting up, I reached for my phone, only to freeze at seeing five silhouettes looming around my bed. Their large, ominous shapes became clear in the silence as my eyes adjusted to the darkness. I dared not move, but they must have known I was awake. Yet, they remained motionless. I averted my gaze, too frightened to confront the reality of these nightmarish figures. For a fleeting moment, I wondered if this was all a dream. No, this was no dream. Slowly, I reached for my wallet on the nightst...
