I fell in love with Benedict (from Much ado about nothing) when I was just nine years old. And I have to admit that there were many more book boyfriends that followed him. For as long as I can remember reading and writing were as important to me as breathing air. In fact I was probably the only kid I knew who got grounded for reading instead of studying.
I am a romantic at heart so of course I love books that fall under the modern, contemporary, historical and especially supernatural romance genres. Growing up, I have had an unusual fascination with anything supernatural and these are still some of my favorite books to read. Authors like J.K. Rowling, Nora Roberts, Karen Rose and Kristen Ashley are my go to favorites. I could happily get lost in their stories for hours!
Writing isn't just a job, but it is a passion that I love deeply. How many people can say they have the opportunity to live a hundred different lives as various characters? How many individuals get to explore a ballroom in the 1800's and at the same time have a romantic encounter with a werewolf? As writer, those are just some of the adventures I get to live on a daily basis.
I have an eclectic educational background. I have a diploma in youth development, am a certified crystal healer, Usui reiki master, yoga instructor and I'm a fully fledged shamanic practitioner.
