Biography
Hi there, I’m Avey! I am a creative writer who has been crafting long-form stories for the past ten years and counting.
In my experience, the worst feeling in the world is sitting and watching the computer cursor blink on a blank white page. The best feeling in the world is watching that blank page become filled with text as a story unfolds out of my fingertips, a whole new world being born within the thin black and white of some simple words on a piece of paper. For my entire life, writing has come as naturally to me as breathing, and it has been a dream of mine to become a professional writer. As a member of the Urban Writers team, I have been able to make that dream a reality, and I’m here to make your dreams come true as well!
Recently, I have become quite invested in the territory of non-fiction, and have become involved in several different niche interests, such as:
-Self-help and Healing
-Humor
-Relationship
-Guides and How-To’s
-History
-Biography/memoirs
-Gardening/home
-Instructional
-Paranormal
-Occultism and New-Age
Since my love of writing began all those years ago, I have made myself a comfortable home within the universe of fiction. I have explored several types of fiction genres, including:
-Fantasy
-Science Fiction
-Dystopian/Apocalyptic
-Cyberpunk
-Thriller
-Horror
-Comedy
-Teen
-Young Adult
-Erotica
-Romance
-Paranormal/Supernatural Romance
-Homosexual Romance (Lesbian/Gay)
-Dark Romance
I look forward to helping to bring the story inside you to life!

Dragonfire
The first sight of him makes Rhiannon’s breath catch. The dragon--no, the young man--approaching her is absolutely nothing she would have expected to be placed before her in a thousand years. He’s human-shaped, mostly. The majority of his body has the appearance of a man not much older than herself, though the true shape of his form is impossible to discern underneath the ruby red robes and the fur mantle wrapped around his shoulders. The sharp lines of his angular face look as if they were chiseled out of alabaster marble. It contrasts harshly with the thick black hair that falls in almo...
High-Flying
Upon entering the Princeton University Art Museum, patrons are immediately welcomed by the sight of the high-flying sculpture Circus Acrobats by American sculptor George Segal (2009-80 a-c) suspended from the ceiling of the museum lobby. Created in 1981 and consisting entirely of plaster, the sculpture depicts a pair of male performers as if they are jumping from the two balconies overlooking the museum lobby from either side. One figure is hanging safely from a trapeze, while the other is frozen in mid-free-fall as he reaches for his partner’s hands. The two figures are stark-white, unpain...
