Biography
"Let me live, love and say it well in good sentences." - Sylivia Plath
My name is Brad, and it is my skill and passion to take ideas and turn them into great stories. The opportunity to ghost write allows me to combine my interest in both research and writing to formulate in-depth and compelling narratives in both short and long form articles.
My passion for writing developed at an early age from my love of reading - something which I can't seem to get enough of. My favorite genres range from historical biographies to politics and current affairs, with just about everything else sprinkled in between. My writing is deeply researched, and I take pride in my ability to make sense of complex problems, connect the dots and produce interesting stories.
While my career has never been focused purely on writing, I have developed my writing capacity through different roles, which include copywriting and content creating for a number of major brands, as well as providing writing and public relations services for a range of clients within both the public and private sector. I am extremely well read, curious and have a strong urge to acquire new knowledge. I have strong research capabilities through my extensive training in the social sciences with a Masters Degree in Development Studies, graduated cum laude. My skill and training as a Researcher affords me the unique ability to provide insightful and compelling narratives that will jump off the page and create any manuscript a masterpiece!
I believe that every word and every sentence must serve a greater purpose. I write with intent and I do not believe in waffle. I am versatile, focused and deadline driven. By selecting me as your ghostwriter you will work with someone who values collaboration and engagement in helping you achieve your publishing goals. You have the ideas, I will bring them to life!
Here are some of the niches I excel in:
- Current affairs
- Society
- Autobiographies/Biographies
- Business
- Finance
- Sport
- Arts and culture
I look forward to working with you!

An Alien Experience
UV lights burning the inside of my eyelids jolts me awake. Heavy breathing. The clink of surgical instruments. The rancid smell of something foreign and unrecognizable. The gibberish chatter of something I've never heard before. I try to place the accent while keeping my eyes shut to not alert whomever, whatever it is beside me. The danger of my situation floods my temples with intense pain. Please can this be a hangover. Is that the sound of a drill? Morbid curiosity gets the better of me as I slowly open my eyes to assess this frightening new reality. The chatter intensifies, the surg...
E-hailing and the Crisis of Work in South Africa
South Africa (SA) is facing a crisis of work with one of the highest unemployment rates in the world. According to Statistics South Africa’s Quarterly Labor Force Survey for the last quarter of 2020, the country’s unemployment rate stands at a 13-year high of 32.5% (Dludla, 2021). This has been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic illustrated by the International Labor Organization’s (ILO) Global Wage Report (2020: 15), which states that global average wages for workers decreased during the first half of 2020 due to the economic ramifications of the pandemic, with SA as no exception. The ov...
