Hi everyone!
I am a University Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Marine & Freshwater Biology, with a true passion for all things nature, art, and of course, writing.
I hope to be able to provide high-quality and captivating projects for you and to grow and improve as a writer through the challenges.

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have an Honours Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Biology, with K-12 education in French Immersion.
I've been writing since before I could make letters. It's true, I would sit in my room with a little notebook and scribble lines while words ran through my head. As I got older and familiarized myself with the written word, I began to document my life and write fictional stories based on things I had learned, experienced, or dreamed about. Throughout my education, I honed my craft to be proficient at writing academic research papers, literature studies, and lab reports. I've taken a creative writing class as well to help me in my pursuit of the passion I still have for fiction writing and poetry. I am currently building a world, characters, and scenes that I hope will one day coalesce into a fantasy novel of some sort that I can share with the world. Writing is one of my true passions in this life, and regardless of what job I am doing, I am writing too.
Throughout my entire academic career, including everything from elementary school through a bachelor's degree, I have tirelessly written and worked hard to only turn in my best work. Friends and classmates have also regularly asked me to proofread and edit their assignments for them, resulting in higher grades and helping them to learn techniques for better writing.
My extensive experience in writing lab reports and research papers has equipped me with the skills necessary to ensure the highest quality of publications, including shrewd attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Extensive reading of fiction, non-fiction, and peer-reviewed journal articles has allowed me to assess what makes them effective and what could be improved upon. I have a strong understanding of proper grammar as well as overall flow and I believe this
makes me a great writer who can help you achieve the outcomes you desire.
Interests and hobbies
My list of hobbies and interests in extensive and ever-growing, here are some of those that are most important to me:
I truly love to read and write, they are some of my greatest passions. Some of my favourite authors are Neil Gaiman, J. R. R. Tolkien, and Oscar Wilde.
I love travelling and experiencing new places for all they have to offer, like language, culture, traditions, art, and food.
Learning about world history especially as told by women, agriculture, stories/mythology, shipwrecks, and science.
I enjoy listening to and learning from music, as well as learning to play guitar and piano.
Drawing and painting have always been a great joy of mine, and I've recently started to teach myself how to tattoo.
All things ecology and physiology have my rapt attention, especially the ecology of forests, oceans, and wetlands. I have a special love for sharks, marine mammals, corals, and any strange creature I come across, land or water-dwelling, animals, vegetable, and everything in between.
Physics concepts such as hyperspace, relativity, energy, and quantum mechanics are all concepts well above my pay grade that I love to learn about and try to understand anyway to incorporate into my understanding of spirituality and the world in general.
Gardening, landscaping, interior design, and fashion: all ways to take necessities and turn them into a cool art project.
Of course, spending time with family and friends and exploring life together, making each other better, and laughing a lot.
There are of course others, but that is enough to begin with for this introduction I think, and as I say, the list is alive and breathing.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I suppose if I only have two sentences, this is what I will say: I try to do all things through love, and a desire for balance and authenticity. To not take everything so seriously and to find the joy in laughter, to balance the light and shadow within myself and the world to achieve the greatest enlightenment and enjoyment of this life.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I believe the key to success in work is a good work-life balance; no one can perform their best if they are uninspired and burnt out. I always strive to create the best possible product through focus, attention to detail, and creativity. I aim to be passionate about what I do for work, no matter what it is, so that I can be the best version of myself within that role.

Perspective
I’m not going to try to make complete sense of right now, right now, I think that might be the thing, you know. That might be why we always feel like we’re behind, because we’re learning the lessons from things we went through years later. But a lot of the time, that’s the only way we can learn properly, once things have stopped moving, once the consequences have unfurled and we can finally look back at something coherent, instead of trying to grab onto something writhing and shifting and trying to lay it flat on the page.

Balance. Light and shadow. Good and evil? Evil is by definition the absence of balance, the failure to reach equilibrium. War is not a natural part of balance, it isn't the shadow aspect of peace.
