Biography
“If all mankind minus one, were of one opinion, and only one person were of the contrary opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.”
-John Stuart Mill
After studying Mechanical Engineering (BSc), and discovering my affinity for finance during my second engineering internship, I went on to become a full-time trader for 4 years: managing multiple accounts and eventually focusing on cryptocurrencies. I later went on to code and back-test trading algorithms on Trading View’s Pinescript programming language to automate trading strategies for my firm.
I have personal experience in founding startups in the engineering and clothing industries. The resilience of my work ethic and authentic obsession in my fields of expertise will result in fast turnaround times for projects without compromising quality.
To collaborate would be an honor and a privilege - a step closer to contributing my highest values into the bricks and mortar of a better world.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
After scoring 91% in English, 89% in Mathematics, and 98% in Technical Drawing (amoungst other distinctions) I was awarded a scholarship from the Allan Grey Orbis Foundation which I used to pursue my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have personal experience in founding 2 startup companies: One in a clothing line, and the other in the mechanical engineering field, including the arduous process of designing, fabricating and testing prototypes. My computer programming skills include the languages of Python, Matlab, C++, Excel VBA, Java, and Pine Script. Gaining the marketing prowess to to establish a fledgling engineering startup was something learned through the trials of the social media marketing conducted for my clothing line years prior, as well as the digital marketing certification I secured after recognizing that a good product alone isn't enough.
Whilst doing my engineering internship, my proficiency with numbers was recognized and I was reallocated to the company's marketing and sales division where I discovered my love for finance and spent 6 months creating a program in Excel VBA which was able to execute 2 days worth of work in under 10 minutes through extensive and efficient coding automation. I also learned valuable skills in familiarizing myself with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro: Learning the key to curating and presenting the object of their desire to the audience: A targeted effect which signals a campaign's success. Understanding brand identity, guerrilla marketing, and strategies such as retargeting, my startups were able to punch well above their weight and act as a source of some of my most profound areas of understanding when it comes to observing and manipulating/ influencing systems.
I also have 4 years of experience in trading and managing trading accounts on behalf of clients, and now continue to trade independently of a trading firm. My focus mainly lies in cryptocurrencies including trading on both centralised and decentralised exchanges, navigating block-explorers for various blockchains, coding APIs to automate trades on several centralised exchanges (including automated arbitrage trades), utilising crypto indexes to identify arbitrage trading opportunities, and accruing the requisite understanding of Technical Analysis to facilitate coding and back-testing of trading algorithms on Trading View’s Pinescript programming language.
My writing is comprised of topics as broad as neurodivergence, finance and technology, spirituality, fantasy, romance, fiction and poetic works, and I believe that the resilience of my work ethic and authentic obsession in my fields of expertise, will result in fast turnaround times for projects without compromising the quality of my writing.
Interests and hobbies
I enjoy reading books by authors such as George Orwell, Terry Pratchet, Frank Herbert, John Stuart Mill, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Rene Descartes, Adam Smith, Eric From, Plato and Aristotle.
I love fantasy and adventure, and have engaged as a character in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that was running for just over 3 years. I also love comics and anime, with Naruto being my favorite anime, but other recommendations being Afro Samurai, One Piece, Death Parade, Deathnote, Rising of the Shield Hero, and Bleach.
My interest in startup culture was mostly fostered during my years as a fellow under the Allan Grey Orbits Foundation program which was focused on developing young entrepreneurs. My own personal experience in having launched and run two startups (the first being in the clothing sector and the second being in the engineering field) is another reason why entrepreneurship will forever remain one of my passions.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
“Some talk,
Some do,
Some: both;
but few!”
As a writer, I would consider myself the latter, as I engage with the customer throughout the process to guarantee satisfaction with the final outcome.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
Quality of content is paramount! The goal is always to give my best work promptly and ahead of schedule, where possible. Mine is to birth the customer's vision into existence and craft that creation to adhere precisely to the vision with creativity and authentic flair, all whilst having an impact on the reader: leaving them with the impression that they would benefit from reading through the book a second or third time. I always try to ensure that my contribution adds some ground-breaking insights into the subject. I aim to draw from personal experience to narrow the gap between the theoretical body of work that exists and what actually happens in reality.
Why should you choose me for your project
My writing style is particularly appropriate for both fiction and nonfiction works. I really do enjoy delving deep into topics of interest and intend to be very accessible to the reader and open to guidance from the customer in terms of the approach of the writing and the direction of the material. If given license, I am also capable of taking initiative and expanding on the scope. When it comes to fiction, my writing style is extremely vivid and imaginative. I love the immersive nature of descriptive writing, and the process of making imagined scenes feel believable.
The years of practical experience I have earned by trading in real markets gives me an edge in that I have countless anecdotes to draw from, and a fundamental grasp of market dynamics which allows me to freely construct effective analogies whilst dismantling widely-held misconceptions through rigorous, but conceptually accessible reasoning.
My tone can vary as I become fluid to take on the shape of the client's vision which I pour myself into. From a more formal and authoritative tone, as is the case in this profile, to a more humorous, witty, and laid back approach. Feel free to have a quick skim thorough my snippets to get a better idea of the full rage of writing styles and tones I have to offer and, as always, I hope you're having a fantastic day!:D

Breaking Down the Blockchain
The first ever transaction of Bitcoin happened in 2009 (Pastor, 2020) between its pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, and Hal Finney. Merely thirteen years after the first recorded cryptocurrency transaction, the world watched in awe as we bore witness to three of the ten billionaires on the ‘Forbes 10 Under 40’ list owing their spectacular fortunes to the stampeding riot of a financial juggernaut that cryptocurrency has become (McEvoy, 2022). Perhaps what’s far more startling is the fact that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies continue to scoff at any suggestions of slowing down, with Centra...
Market Manipulation
A speculative trader essentially gambles in the market. They haphazardly pick a stock and arbitrarily allocate a virtually random amount of capital to capriciously purchase a quantity of stock in the wishful and deluded hope that it will appreciate in value over time. Such traders are arguably harder to manipulate, with the exception of resorting to inducing volatile price action. This means that the only way to control them primarily relies on your ability to induce panic by causing the price to rapidly rise or fall (Bähr, 2021). As the price plummets, they panic and sell the stock in fear...
Young Adult Personal Finance (light hearted/ casual)
Have you ever had to take a good and proper look at your bank balance and it looked sadder than the last dodo? Are debit orders Thanos-snapping away half of your bank balance at the beginning of every month? That was definitely the case with one of my classmates at university. I liked to call him the LeBron James of banking and it wasn't a compliment: the same way LeBron dribbles the ball and causes it to bounce a few times before leaping into the air and throwing the ball with a laser aim so that it finally goes through the hoop to score a crucial point: my friend would do the same with hi...
Why the Rate of Human Progress Depends Primarily on How the World Treats Women: Philosophical Musings.
The title of this snippet is where the "big words" end. Some find philosophy intimidating, so rather think of this as one of those late night conversations you're having with an old friend over a bottle of wine, except this will forever change the way you view the world: Just me taking full advantage of the opportunity to disseminate one of my somewhat radical applications of logic. How old are you?... How old are you REALLY?... Well, if you came into the room sweating and desperately trying to catch your breath, I could assume that you had very recently been running or doing some phys...
Harnessing the Power of Social Media Marketing through Grassroots Branding
In the vibrant tapestry of university life, a remarkable chapter was unfolding on campus—a student movement igniting passion and purpose among my peers. Fueled by my creative spirit, I felt a compelling urge to amplify this movement's impact by designing a logo that would lend it an air of legitimacy and respect. This logo would not just be a visual symbol; it would encapsulate the essence of the movement itself. But here lay my conundrum: I hadn’t sought permission to craft this emblem, nor had I been appointed by the movement’s leaders to take on this initiative. The question loomed la...
Daddy's a Baddie & Mommy's a Zombie
There! Did you see that? That limp wasn't there before. Dad doesn't walk like that normally. Did you see that film we watched yesterday? That's how the zombies walk! Slouching over just like that." Jerry and Siane were hunched behind the bedroom window upstairs peering through the curtain at their parents who were obliviously carrying groceries from the car to the kitchen. Jerry's tiny hands clutched the walkie talkie which he occasionally used to scratch the thick, black, messy mop of hair in an expression of deep thought. For a 9 year old, his brain was firing on maximum cylinders, and he...
