Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

My qualifications for this position can be categorized into several chunks of freelancing. I have written for my friend's YouTube channel. I have written for an Interior Design company. My career in IT spans from being a guy who is a database administrator to writing procedures for reports, manuals(Yeah, I know it's boring), and other technical stuff.
I asked myself when I was in the IT industry daily, "Who wants to be in a soulless, mundane job with no means to an end? Who wants to live from paycheck to paycheck where you slowly lose a part of yourself every single day?"
I have chosen this platform as a means to exhibit myself, by contributing something to this writing community in vain hopes that even after I am gone, it will live forever.

Interests and hobbies

I play an unhealthy amount of video games(both single-player and competitive). My favorite games include Red Dead Redemption 2, Valorant, Far Cry series, Batman Arkham series, Control, etc. I also like to play and watch cricket. I am also a big fan of Alistair Maclean, Sidney Sheldon, Pudhumaipithan, and Thiruvalluvar(The last 2 are Indian-Tamil authors).

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

People say to me I'm very approachable and non-judgemental. I resort to reasoning when faced with a challenge.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

Before putting the ink on paper(or pressing keys in the text editor), I reread the material given to me at least 10-50 times as I will get new insights on what to write and how to write. It gives me a deeper understanding of the layers of the material on what the client expects.
Then, I prepare notes on how I intend to write the structure like a screenwriter writing the scenes on the board.
Then, I read the instructions about the actual writing style to make sure not to commit any mistakes.
Finally, I write.

Why should you choose me for your project

I am not used to advertising myself as this is the first time I am entering into this freelancing venture. However, I worked as a database administrator("tech support" might be a more appropriate term but I am afraid I am being racist to the rest of the Indian guys) in major IT companies in India for 3 years.
One thing I can say is I knowingly left my well-paying job into this unknown realm purely out of passion. Even though fiction is my priority I still can write non-fiction as I am used to writing technical guides, and SOPs in my previous companies.
