Biography
Sylvia is currently studying for a B.A. in English, which represents one of her main passions in life. In high school, she participated in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Through this program, she gained a mindset that considers things in a global context as opposed to one that is solely American. She loves reading and writing, studying philosophy, listening to music, and helping others. Sylvia writes often both for leisure and otherwise, tending to focus on poetry and essays as these are her favorite genres. That doesn't stop her from branching out, trying new things, and learning new skills, however. Sylvia seeks the value and deeper meaning of things, and as such will read, listen, and interact with anything she can with an open mind and a desire to learn. Her work ethic is strong and she takes great pride in everything she does, working to produce quality content in a timely manner.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Arts in English Language and Literature. Before I began university, I graduated from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. I also have significant experience in writing across all genres, both for leisure and professionally. I have ghostwritten for independent clients for years before coming to Dibbly | The Urban Writers, published my own work in magazines and online journals, and continue to practice and improve my skills wherever I can.
Interests and hobbies
Writing is one of my main passions in life. I love the power words have and being able to contribute to something outside of myself through writing. I also love to read. I'll pick up pretty much anything to read, but my favorite genres are classic literature, historical fiction, poetry, and rather niche areas of realistic fiction. I have also practiced spirituality and various religions for most of my life. I adore philosophy, music, psychology, sociology and many other fields; it's hard to find something I can say that I dislike!

I'm a friendly, compassionate, and approachable hard worker who always strives to do the best I can. I adore helping others with a passion and maintaining a positive outlook of myself, others, and the world around me is important to me.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I approach each project individually, but I always begin with a detailed planning stage that involves outlining and research. I am methodical, dedicated, careful, and efficient with my work, and always maintain good levels of contact with others involved in my work during the course of the project. I pride myself on my ability to adapt myself and my work to any client's needs.
