Biography

When I was a few months old, my mother gave me the biggest gift imaginable: a key to unlock the world, both past and present.
She gave me a library card.
Every two weeks we would go to the library to pick out stories that she would bring to life in my cherished book nook. From princesses and mermaids to talking animals and Bible stories ¬– these tales nourished my imagination and whetted my appetite for more.

All these years later, I still believe curling up with a good book is contented bliss in its purest form. I still lose myself between the pages; traveling to places I’ve only ever dreamt of, experiencing times long gone, seeing history unfold before my very eyes.

Words are like musical notes. Ordinary and one-dimensional. But, when intertwined with skill, passion, and respect, they have the potential to become a beautiful symphony.

I believe my love of books and good stories, paired with my skills as a language editor and my keen eye for detail, can be instrumental in breathing life into your dream.

A soft breeze tousles my hair and carries with it the call of seagulls, squeals of children, and the sound of waves breaking and lapping the shore. Across from me, my sister and cousin are making quicker work of digging their holes. Thanks to their head start in life, their longer arms can reach down deeper, faster. But I refuse to be outdone—even as my mom, armed with suntan lotion and a hat, comes to interrupt my progress. I grunt as she lath...
