My name is Scottie, and my love for writing began as soon as I learned to read. That early passion quickly grew, earning me first place in several writing contests as a child, and it has shaped my professional path ever since.
I hold two bachelor's degrees—one in Journalism and the other in International Relations—and have earned two MBA titles: one in Business Management and the other in Agribusiness. I am currently a student for a new bachelor's degree in Data Science and Big Data. Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French, my language skills reflect the diverse experiences and cultures that have influenced my work and writing style.
From the age of 16, I immersed myself in the corporate world as in intern, progressing to hold various management positions. My career spanned diverse sectors, from internal communications and human resources to engineering in property appraisals in a big bank to the food industry. Leading multifunctional teams and managing quality control in these varied environments helped me build my leadership skills, adaptability, and understanding of people from different places.
However, it was writing that truly guided my career choices. The art of telling stories, sharing untold voices, and crafting narratives led me to journalism. I found joy in giving a place to stories that needed to be heard. In late 2021, I decided to step away from the corporate world and fully embrace my dream of becoming an author. Since then, I have dedicated myself to full-time writing, publishing nine original books—fiction, non-fiction, and children's literature—across three languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Several of these works have won awards and received prestigious nominations.
Two of my greatest passions—reading and research—have been invaluable in my writing journey. Throughout university, I excelled in research projects and academic writing, skills that continue to support my work today. As for reading, my personal library of over 2,000 books speaks to my appetite for knowledge and storytelling. With titles in four languages and a wide array of genres—from fiction to non-fiction, romance to crime thrillers, and from parenting to travel and art guides—my collection reflects the breadth of my interests and my constant pursuit of learning.
As a ghostwriter, I am excited to help others bring their stories to life. Whether through meticulous research, thoughtful storytelling, or capturing the essence of your voice, I am committed to crafting books that resonate with readers and convey your message with precision and heart.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I hold two bachelor's degrees—one in Journalism and the other in International Relations—as well as two MBAs, with specializations in Corporate Management and Agribusiness. I am currently pursuing a new degree in Data Science and Big Data.
In my most recent corporate role, I worked at an international firm specializing in inspections, certifications, and quality control, where I managed a team of 10 highly skilled professionals. Additionally, I have been involved in multiple IT projects, gained extensive experience in due diligence, and spent time working in a major bank. My roles have consistently been client-focused, with an emphasis on commercial strategy, customer service, and ensuring satisfaction.
As an author, I have published 11 books under my own name.
Interests and hobbies
Reading is, without a doubt, my favorite pastime. I have a collection of over 2,000 books, each of which I cherish deeply. I’ll read just about anything, from manuals to love stories, and if a book is part of a series, I love it even more!
Beyond reading, I enjoy listening to music, playing with my kids, and driving—especially when I can combine driving with good music.
I'm also a fan of binge-watching series and learning new languages. I currently speak four and am always eager to learn more (which, naturally, means expanding my book collection!).
Lastly, I have a strong passion for travel (who doesn't?), although I’m terrified of airplanes.

I am communicative, proactive, and highly dedicated. However, I can also be stubborn, addicted to approval, mismanage time, and overly focused.

In my work, my goal is always to ensure that the client has the best possible experience—not just with my service, but with the company as a whole. My experience has taught me that when you work for someone, it’s your responsibility to represent them to the best of your abilities.
I value honesty and fairness, even though those qualities may not always be the easiest path.

I'm very glad I was able to get Scottie for a writer! She is a great researcher and efficient writer. I was so amazed at her speed and thoroughness and how she put her heart into the topic. Also she was very friendly and caring, helping me along the way as a first-time author/publisher. I started to give her a 4 for Quality of Work because I was distracted by English grammar issues although she assured me those would be taken care of by the editor and she was definitely right about that.
