Biography
Hello there! I'm a lover of reading, travel, and good food and drinks. I prefer to read fantasy, folktale retellings, and historical fiction! Traveling is always fun. I enjoy being on the move toward a new destination, exploring new places, or discovering hidden restaurants and cafes. My favorite writing areas include history, art, fashion, travel, and food/drink. I love learning new facts or skills and enjoy researching projects almost as much as writing them.
Since I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, I have used my writing skills in multiple areas. I possess a wide range of experience, both personal and professional. This experience includes writing lifestyle articles, academic papers, blog posts, short non-fiction, long fiction, and poetry.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have a BFA in Creative Writing and professional experience as a writer, editor, tutor, and digital content strategist with a background in both academic and creative writing. I’ve worked in roles that required sharp attention to language, thoughtful communication, and the ability to distill complex ideas into accessible, engaging content. My academic foundation includes a humanities-focused education with further training in editing, literary analysis, and digital storytelling.
Interests and hobbies
Beyond writing, I’m passionate about language learning, cultural history, and the why behind it all, captured in subjects such as philosophy, psychology, theology, and linguistics. I love to travel, and I’m always searching for local bookstores, quiet cafes, ambient bars, and unexpected stories. I’m also committed to ongoing personal development through reading, reflection, and maintaining a healthy and balanced creative life.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I’m a curious, grounded visionary who values clarity, creativity, and meaningful connection. With a sharp eye, soft heart, and deep drive for growth, I blend imagination with intention in everything I pursue.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
My approach is both structured and empathetic: I strive to understand the core of each idea or story, before I shape it with precision, purpose, and emotional resonance. I believe great writing invites trust, not just through style or insight, but by reflecting honesty and care behind the words.
Why should you choose me for your project
I bring both heart and rigor to my work. I’m not just a strong writer, I’m an attentive collaborator, a careful editor, and someone who genuinely cares about helping ideas reach their full depth and audience. Whether you’re looking for storytelling that moves, clarity that cuts through, or content that reflects your values, I’ll meet your project with both creativity and discipline.

Bird Without a Song
A cardinal sits in the bough of a small tree. The sky is overcast, and though thunder is loud and dark clouds advance from the southeast, the shoppers continue to flit from store to store in search of their next big find. From the top of his tree, planted in a small garden between stores, the cardinal watches. He trills a song, hears a reply, and trills again. The threat of rain does not bother him, either. An empty store to his left has large, dark glass doors with windows to either side and above with an overhang of twisting and curling metal, painted white and confined in a rectangula...
Response to NT Wright's TIME Article "Christianity Offers No Answers About the Coronavirus. It's Not Supposed To." (Original Article posted on March 29, 2020)
We aren’t meant to understand everything. We aren’t meant to have all the answers. If we did have all the answers, why would we need faith? It’s natural to encounter a bad situation and to doubt and question God’s intent and sovereignty. It’s okay to question and doubt, but it’s wrong to disobey, which often comes from doubt and questions. Wright references a T.S. Eliot poem entitled, “Wait Without Hope.” Here’s the section he was referring to: "I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope, For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love, For love would be love ...
A Villanelle
For the past couple of months, I have been struggling with getting into certain habits. One of these is expanding on the subjects I write about and the forms those writings take. I was reading A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce a couple weeks ago, and there is this scene where he wakes up with half of a Villanelle formed in his head. For those artists out there who occasionally wake up in a sweat with the hint of something genius on their brain, you probably understand how inspiring it can be to witness another's inspiration. I will always be glad that Joyce wrote tha...
Enneagram: A Complete Guide
Personal and spiritual growth is the groundwork of personality theory. We want you to be the best version of yourself and believe that the Enneagram is one path to that future. The Enneagram typology is made of nine types, each one point in a numbered, clockwise circle. As with a clock, the largest number, the nine, is at the top of the circle. Each number represents a different set of traits or behaviors used to describe and differentiate the personalities. Businesses and organizations that use the Enneagram prefer to name the nine types for clearer understanding and reference. The n...
