"Imagination is the true magic of life," echoes through my mind with every keystroke, a mantra I've carried since the first spark of creativity ignited within me. As a high school English teacher turned freelance writer, my journey through the labyrinth of words began long before I ever set foot in a classroom.
Immersed in the vibrant tapestry of the performing arts during my formative years, I found solace and expression as a budding scriptwriter for my community theater. From those humble beginnings, my passion for storytelling blossomed into a kaleidoscope of literary forms, from articles to short stories, and into the intricate dance of ghostwriting.
Now, on the cusp of my debut as a published author, crafting my own dystopian fantasy series, I find myself drawn back to the weaving loom of freelance work, a realm where every project is a new adventure, a fresh canvas awaiting the stroke of my pen.
Beyond the written word, I am a connoisseur of life's eclectic offerings—vegetarian cuisine, the harmonies of music, the sustainable innovations of green technology—all of which fuel my insatiable curiosity and drive for exploration.
A self-proclaimed 'plantser'—part plotter, part pantser—I navigate the creative landscape with an agile blend of structure and spontaneity, embracing the fluidity of storytelling as characters come to life and narratives take flight.
Surrounded by kindred spirits both within the creative enclave of TUW and within the sanctuary of my home—a tranquil haven nestled atop nature's grandeur—I find inspiration in the company of loved ones, including my irrepressible teenage son, my steadfast mother, and our beloved Frenchie.
Though the city beckons with its siren song, I return faithfully to the serenity of home, where the symphony of nature serves as the backdrop for my literary endeavors, a sacred space where words flow freely and imagination knows no bounds.
Eager to embark on new collaborations and breathe life into visions yet untold, I extend my hand in fellowship to fellow seekers of inspiration, ready to embark on a journey of creativity and discovery together. Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have been writing in all its forms from the time I learned to form my ABCs. I've been a high school English teacher for longer than I care to remember and I love it as much as I love being a writer.
Interests and hobbies
I love all types of arts and crafts from crochet to resin art to quilling. I love all expressions of soul and creativity.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
A free spirit, I have a live-and-let-live philosophy. I don't subscribe to institutionalism of any kind but I am deeply spiritual, and a natural-born empath.

Highly motivated, I tackle my work with passion, commitment, and a good helping of creativity. I believe that anything worth doing, is worth doing well.

I was expecting this manuscript to be completed early November and was checking each day for progress and providing feedback. She had to be prompted often and I was told by her she would be writting evenings and weekends so I adjusted my schedule so we could fly through this. I understand setbacks happen but from September 16th until the end of November was not what I expected. She was very nice and the writting was good. She made suggested edits.
