Biography

“The final mystery is oneself. When one has weighed the sun in the balance, and measured the steps of the moon, and mapped out the seven heavens star by star, there still remains oneself. Who can calculate the orbit of his own soul?” — Oscar Wilde

I’ve always been fascinated by the mysteries of life — and the ultimate mystery is, of course, ourselves. As a full-time explorer of curiosities, I’ve learned that not everything can be fully understood at first glance, especially when it comes to human nature. It seems to be the final frontier in the world of the strange!

With a degree in journalism in hand, I’ve been writing professionally since 2014. My fiction has appeared in anthologies, but I always knew I was destined for more: a broader journey, new horizons, and fresh challenges. So, I set off to explore a variety of genres, including Young Adult, Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Paranormal, Children’s Books, Dystopian, and even African Fiction.

Along the way, my path led me into the world of journalism, where I had the pleasure of interviewing many incredible “Mavens” — because let’s face it, the term “influencer” just doesn’t do them justice. My work has been published in international media outlets, and this experience only deepened my love for storytelling.

For a while, I focused solely on non-fiction, diving into topics like Self-Help, Pets, Travel, Health and Fitness, Medical Writing, Business, and Biographies. Each new topic was a new puzzle to solve, and I loved every minute of it.

Writing, for me, is an expression of my lifelong love for stories. It’s what makes me feel truly alive — and it makes me ridiculously happy!

When I’m not crafting words, you can find me out fishing, collecting shells, or exploring every hidden corner of my home city. Because life, like writing, is all about the adventure!

Welcome to Lewes

Delaware’s small beach towns offer a unique charm that resonates well with nature lovers and beach bums. Lewes offers miles upon miles of beaches for an easygoing beach-bound life. Located along the banks of the Delaware Bay between Cape Henlopen State Park and the Great Marsh Preserve, Lewes offers a lot more than scenic views. The town may not be located directly on the Atlantic coast, but it is still recognized as a beach community since it’s at the mouth of the Delaware River, which empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Lewes attracts thousands of visitors and part-time residents during t...

The World of Conspiracy Theories: From the Mandela Effect, to Denver Airport, Lizard People, and the Illuminati

Are We Alone? NASA discovered possible signs of life on Saturn’s moon. Well, at least according to a mathematical model. When scientists turned their attention to Enceladus and its giant water plumes, they did not expect the results the Cassini mission would yield. As the sixth-largest of Saturn’s moons, Enceladus boasts a surface mostly covered with ice. Scientists have long been fascinated by the giant water plumes erupting from Enceladus, adding inspiration to the speculation that there may be an ocean to be found beneath the icy shell. Collecting samples from these plumes, the Cassin...

Successfully Starting A Business on a Budget

In August 2021 the United States Census Bureau recorded 427,842 new business applications. Furthermore, the Census Bureau is projecting that 31,994 new business startups with payroll tax liabilities will form within 4 quarters of application from all business applications filed during August 2021. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, the average micro business cost around $3000 to start, while most home-based ventures can cost up to $5000. Many entrepreneurs start their businesses with little more than a shoestring budget, which may help to explain the popularity of the LLC,...

Should Startups Use Crypto?

Cryptocurrency has evolved far beyond the dank and moldy basements of tech enthusiasts and speculative investors looking for their next big thrill. That’s because crypto is more than a new kind of money; it’s an infrastructure that offers a way to keep up with a world that’s increasingly becoming digital-first. So, you need to ask yourself one important question: Is crypto right for my startup? I think about this question, every time I draft a new business plan. More than 100,000 businesses across the world are accepting crypto as a form of payment (Cuthbertson, 2023). The decentrali...

A Gift for Grandpa

Jamie was excited. He had been saving up his allowance for weeks. Today was finally the big day! Today was the day he’d go to the corner gift store to get a watch for his grandfather. Grandpa was visiting today, so it was the perfect time to surprise him. After school, Jamie skipped down the road. He wondered what kind of watch he should get. His heart skipped a beat from happiness. He couldn’t wait to see the look on Grandpa’s face. But then Jamie’s heart sank. CLOSED FOR RENOVATION was written on the door. The whole shop was locked up tight. He sat on the curb, thinking hard. “Wher...

Toby's Golden Teddy

Toby had a soft, golden teddy. It had green eyes and wore blue pants. Toby was proud of it. His grandma gave it to him, and nobody was allowed to touch it. He named it Goldie. He kept the teddy on a high shelf. Every day he admired the pretty golden color, but Toby never played with it. What if his teddy got dirty or worse still, got torn? He had to keep Goldie safe and that meant it had to stay on the high shelf. His little sister, Lisa, always asked, “Can I play with Goldie?” “No,” Toby said. “You’ll get it dirty. Go play with your bunny.” One rainy afternoon, Lisa sat by th...

SVB an Ungraceful Fall

March 2023 was a month of shock in the financial world. A celebrated success story unraveled into a full-blown disaster when the 16th largest bank in the United States collapsed. The root cause? Poor risk management strategies. But to understand what went wrong with the bank, we first need to look at what made Silicon Valley Bank so unique. Silicon Valley Bank: A Brief History Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) was part of a larger company, called Silicon Valley Bank Financial Group (SVBFG). This company owned and managed financial businesses, including the bank itself. SVB held most of the mo...
