As Socrates once said, “an unexamined life is not worth living.” A compelling writing allows such examination.
Biography
Connie G. Golly has a degree in Philosophy. She is also a lawyer and has a master's degree in Tertiary Education. She loves teaching (it's her primary job), just as she loves reading and writing.
Her taste in books is quite broad, ranging from philosophy (one of her favorites is Aristotle) to novels (she especially loves reading detective stories, like Agatha Christie.) As for her writing niches, she's always had fun when it's come to writing papers or other research assignments for school and University. She enjoys writing about education, philosophy, or legal issues. In these areas, there is always room for debate and analysis. A good book always leaves you with something to think about, rather than just giving you simple facts. Connie loves writing for that very reason: She can reflect on the subject of her writing and hopefully get others to do the same.
Aside from books, she also loves musicals (one of her dreams is to live on Broadway for six months because of that), music, and movies. She loves being with family and friends and just enjoying life. For her, a day not enjoyed is a day not lived.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
After graduating, I started my academic and professional formation by getting a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. This helped me mature and nurtured my habit of questioning everything and always thinking things over. Afterward, I went through law school, becoming a lawyer in 2018. I later got a master’s degree in Tertiary Education. My ability to write and communicate what I learn/research has been critical to these different educational stages.
I have also had the chance to work on translating texts on some occasions. This has proven to be a great exercise because I cannot just translate word by word- I must somehow find a way to correctly express something told in one language in a different one. This requires not only proficiency with both languages but also creativity.
Interests and hobbies
When I am not working. I enjoy several activities. Reading and writing are among them, of course. I also love spending time with family and friends, sharing, and having a good time. Movies and music are also important to me. My favorite movies are funny ones because I love to laugh. My taste in music is quite broad, but I tend to prefer music from the 70s or 80s to more modern tunes.
I also try to exercise by taking walks several times a week, as it is very beneficial for both my physical and mental health.
Finally, I like solving logic exercises and riddles to keep my mind sharp and watching YouTube videos to relax.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
try to give my all in everything I do, my work included of course. I am passionate about the people and things I care about. I’m curious and always willing to learn about fascinating new topics. I also have a very strong sense of both duty and loyalty- I’m always responsible, and I value being trustworthy and dependable. I want those around me to know I’m always there for them and that they can count on me.
I believe one can- and should- enjoy everything one does. Whether working or just engaging in some hobby or any other situation, I try to make the most of it and have fun. There’s always something positive to focus on!
How I'd describe my approach to my work
When I write, I try to not only convey simple information but also learn and think about the topic I’m discussing. It may have something to do with my bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Also, having been a teacher for a decade, I always want my texts to be accessible and a source of interest and learning to their target reader. We all know every writer has a unique and distinctive voice that’s his or her own, and these characteristics make up mine.
Therefore I give a lot of thought to what I write, which I consider a crucial step in creating a text. Reflection and analysis, as well as research, are very important to me as they define what I want to say. The actual writing, of course, allows that message to be as clear and attractive as possible.
Why should you choose me for your project
You should choose me because I strive to simultaneously make my writing compelling and informative. I have worked as a teacher for years now, and I try to make my writing easy to follow and learn from, just as I try to explain myself clearly to any student I may be teaching. Making my writing (like my lessons) interesting is part of the same didactic approach.

Greeking Out
In the beginning, there was Chaos, the Chasm. After Chaos came Gaia, the Earth. The Chasm gave life to Erebos and Night, and they, in turn, produced Bright Day and Air. As for Gaia, she gave birth to Ouranos (Uranus), Heaven. Uranus was her equal and covered her all around. We must consider, though, that Hesiod’s version of events is not the only one. There are other, slightly different tales of how these entities came to be. In this way, we find that while the oldest version of the Orphic cosmogony establishes Gaia and Uranus as being born from two halves of the same cosmic egg, another ...
Greeking Out (2)
Prometheus was a titan who dared to defy the will of Zeus. Against the God’s wishes, he gave man (well, human beings) the power of fire. He was severely punished for it; he was permanently tied to a rock, where an eagle would eat his liver every day. It would regenerate overnight, and the next day it would get eaten again. We might add that stories similar to this exist in various cultures and in no way only in ancient Greek mythology. The story started earlier, when Prometheus offered Zeus an ox, and he tried to mislead the God. He tried to disguise the bones with some fat and hide the r...
