Biography

Hello there, I'm! It's a pleasure to get to know you!

A little you should know about me:

I am an I.B Diploma survivor (class of 2016), I took HL Language & Literature, History, and Theatre. I then attended Hawaii Pacific University from 2016-2020, where I got my Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications (I also got an opportunity to study abroad in London at the Richmond University of London for a semester!)

Outside of the classrooms, I have written features for my university's student news publication, as well as writing about success stories with clients for a financial investment firm, as well as detailed item writeups and social media posts for listings on an online auction platform. I have served as a copywriter for a tech startup, with a close eye on detail to ensure all of the user interface's text and language is easy for any user to comprehend, as well as promoting new/updated features clearly. I also contribute to an automotive culture blog called 'HiddenPalmTree' when I have time to research, plan, interview/arrange photoshoots, and write original stories about car culture and the scene that interest me!

Hobbies & Interests:
- Cars (JDMs, itasha culture, cars of the 80s/90s era are areas I have a particular focus and interest in)
- Anime
- Manga
- History
- Photography
- Collecting automotive memorabilia (brochures, literature, diecast cars)
- Food Culture (I always am on the hunt for trying new food trends, and finding new restaurants in town to discover and try in my free time)

Any opportunity I find to incorporate these hobbies and interests of mine, I will happily pursue them. Aside from these, I am very interested in helping write prose fiction, informative guides, blog posts (especially for SEO), product descriptions, and personal biographies - need an 'About Me'/'Who We Are' section done? I am happy to assist.

I love writing as I have always found words as my preferred way to describe and explain my thoughts over numbers or visuals. Writing allows me to convey various emotions, ideas and more - I love getting to create enticing text that gets readers hooked and wanting more - informing them of niche information they wouldn't have known elsewhere or getting them to see a whole new perspective all through my written words.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

I want to ensure the text I create sells your story, idea, and conveys your target mood & emotion to provoke the response you want from the readers. I will take the time to ask as many questions possible about what you want your text to do - what do you imagine it to look like, any images or additional resources you want to accompany it that will greatly assist the overall presentation, any previous examples I could draw inspiration from or you feel inspired by that you see your text taking form of? I want to have all the tools I need to make your text the best it can be.
