–The Red Shoes (1948)
When exactly I started is lost in the mists of my memory along with my first steps and my first word, but I first realized I was good at it when I was around ten years old. My teacher shouted at me because the story I handed in was too short but, after he had actually read it, he gave me an A and read it out in front of the class. He had realized what I already knew—it was short because it needed to be and it was good.
Not that I would so brazenly ignore a brief anymore. As a professional, I am aware that there is writing for myself and then there is writing for you—while one might inform the other, professionalism always comes first when it comes to ghostwriting. This is your book and it will be written according to your instructions and to your deadline but using my skills and experience.
I have degrees in Law and Philosophy as well as diplomas in Screenwriting and Journalism. This experience gives me the perfect blend of research and writing knowledge to enable me to both develop and write your book. I have a wide range of experience in the area of non-fiction including writing:
Textbooks
Technical Manuals
Fundraising proposals
Film Criticism and Reviews
Articles on International Law, Politics and Human Rights
Travel Articles
Essays
Presentations
While writing non-fiction is its own enthralling challenge and something that I enjoy immensely, fiction is my first love. I have a particular love of the genres of mystery and science fiction, although I don’t believe you can write anything without a bit of romance thrown in as well. That said I have written novels, film scripts and short stories in many genres including:
Science Fiction
Fantasy
Mystery
Horror
Comedy
Romance
Literary
Young Adult
In the end, this is your book and all the skills and experience I have developed over the years are here to help you make it gripping, well-researched, well-written and beautiful to read.
Non-Fiction, Biography & Memoir, History, Humor & Entertainment, Religion & Spirituality, Travel, Self Help, Law, Politics & Current Affairs, Pets, Comedy

HInterland
I could not find a patch of turf to bury him in among these mangroves, so I dropped him over the side of the boat we have been sharing for what seems like the entirety of eternity now. For a terrible moment I feared I had made a mistake, for he seemed to come alive with silent flailings and spasms and sent up great gushes of water before cracking against the roots of a tree, wedging there for a time, shuddering. But it was only one of the great lizards that float like logs in the waters here, dragging him down to its larder. Now it is only I that remains, I alone of the ten that set out to ...
La Huasteca
See All the Sights of La Huasteca Without Lifting a Finger Everyone loves La Huasteca, a lush region towards the coast of the state of San Luis Potosi, from the Mexicans who live there to the visitors who come from all over world to see and experience the waterfalls, concrete castles and the tropical weather. There’s adventure if you want it and relaxation if you don’t. The problems arise when it comes to where to stay and how to get to the diverse and disparate locations without ending up bankrupt or with whatever the driving equivalent of tennis elbow might be. Aldea Huasteca and the R...
Bullhead
From the tagline and opening scenes of Bullhead you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re about to watch a gangster film. Later you might start to think you’re watching a comedy and later still you might even begin to wonder if you’ve wandered into a romance - an odd one, granted, but a romance nonetheless. That’s the problem with Bullhead - it doesn’t seem to know what it is and as a result it has a go at being everything at once. What it should have been, where the posters and title succeed even if the film doesn’t quite pull it off, is Matthias Schoenaerts’ Bullhead. His performance tur...
Charles Taylor’s conviction exposes weaknesses in the idea of International Law
Charles Taylor, former president of Liberia, was today convicted of ‘aiding and abetting’ war crimes perpetrated by the Revolutionary United Front during the Sierra Leone civil war. This has been heralded by some as a major coup for international justice but there is a significant question being ignored: Why is Charles Taylor, who was central to 14 years of one of the most brutal civil wars in history, only being charged with collusion in crimes committed by his associates? Why, when between 1989 and 2003 he played a central role in one of the most brutal civil wars in history, is he bein...
