Fiction writer of 20+ years ready to collaborate on romance, horror, supernatural, mystery/thrillers, & anything magic.
Biography
My love for writing began in screenplays where I started out in the horror and fantasy genre. I love magic and all things supernatural, but I'm also a sucker for a good romance and can't resist that line in a book or movie that makes you feel something and hits you just right in your core. I've found that writing novels allows so much more freedom for details and the room to really pour your heart out into your story with words.
My favorite genres to write are fantasy, magical realism, supernatural, horror, thrillers, and romance. I also enjoy the Young Adult category and love the whimsical nature that comes with writing for a younger audience or reminds adult audiences of the child within themselves. I love a good story with a deep meaning or message, but I always try to make sure to add some lightheartedness and humor within it in some way. To me, the most important part of a story is relatability and creating something readers can connect with.
When I'm not writing, I'm either watching films, basketball, or baking shows, cooking, or hanging out with my two kitties. Some of my favorite shows include True Blood, Friends, Bridgerton, and Breaking Bad. I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd, and my favorite all time movie is Moulin Rouge.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I've spent the past 20+ years creating stories between writing books, poems, short stories, as well as screenplays for film and television. I' have written several novels of my own, and I've also adapted books into screenplays for other published authors. For the past two years in a row, I've won the Golden Wizard Book Prize in the YA Fantasy category, but love writing all genres, especially horror and supernatural. Overall, my books and screenplays have won a total of over 50 different awards.
Interests and hobbies
My interests and hobbies include film, cooking, health and fitness, basketball, and animals. I am a big fan of Halloween and love all things spooky, creepy, and supernatural. I especially love anything that has to do with witches, vampires, werewolves, or any type of mythical creatures. I like going on adventures, going to the beach, and watching Harry Potter or anything that has to do with sharks. I consider myself a big foodie and enjoy trying out new restaurants and food festivals, and I look for any excuse to bake up something sweet, especially with chocolate.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
My personality is outgoing, upbeat, and a bit goofy. I love to smile and laugh, and I always look for the bright side in every day.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I approach my work very seriously but also with an extreme love for what I do. I know how to prioritize and am especially good with time management, so I'm great at keeping myself on a consistent schedule. I love drawing inspiration from real life experiences, whether it be my own or that of others, and I use that to connect to the characters I create. I am very dedicated and professional about my work, and at the end of the day, there is nothing I truly love more than just sitting down and writing.
Why should you choose me for your project
You should choose me for your project because I'm passionate, professional, efficient, and never miss a deadline. I'm very communicative and will always reply to you in a very timely manner. I am open to feedback and will ensure that you are highly satisfied with the final product. I'm creative, dependable, skillful at grammar and dialogue, but most of all, I will always tell a story that will leave the audience feeling something.

Delilah in the Woods
The first thing that hit Delilah was the smell of the fresh brisk air as if she had just stepped into the outdoors for the very first time in her life. The air that was once sweeter and warmer in the woods was now crisp and musty smelling as it entered into her nostrils, and she could feel the coldness hit her lungs. Then, the familiar tingling sensation that she remembered feeling twelve years ago when she first entered the woods suddenly took over her body, only this time it felt ten times as intense. It started at the very top of her head, tingled down through her neck to her spine, thro...
The "Not Date" Date
Liz smiles at him, and after a few seconds of the two of them being lost in a moment staring into each other's eyes, Walter finally says, "So... why is it that you didn't want to call this a date?" "Oh, that," Liz says and then giggles. She's feeling a lot more at ease after a few cocktails and is finally comfortable enough to tell the truth to Walter. "I should be honest with you, Walter. There is sort of... someone else. Someone who has been in my life for quite some time now." Walter shifts in his seat and looks a bit uncomfortable. This is not the answer he was hoping to hear. ...
The Orawick Academy for Mystical Beings
With Cassidy and Seamus pleased with the results of their final battle move and all of the trolls laying defeated on the ground, the witch and wizard knew this was their opportunity to get out of there as fast as they possibly could. They made a run for it and started to head towards the hill when one of the troll guards who had somehow escaped the blast suddenly popped up in front of them. He was about four and a half feet tall and had long scraggly purple hair, swampy blue skin, and several missing teeth. He flashed the few teeth he did have through a wicked looking smile and rapidly chuc...
The Dark Witch
The hooded figure inched towards them and held out their palm, preparing to shoot them both with blasts of magic. Before they did, Micah yelled, “Kayleigh, run!” He then instantly transformed into his werewolf form and raged towards the hooded figure. Just as he began flying through the air to pounce on them, the figure held out their palms and hit him with a large streaming blue beam of magic that stopped him mid-pounce and levitated him high into the air. The figure then used the magic beam to thrust him across the sky and forcefully throw his body against the rocks. Micah hit the rock...
Romance
As Delilah sat there, alone in the cold night, she wondered what would happen to her now. She had no home, no family or friends, no money, and she was almost running out of food. She did remember Angela telling her to look her up if she ever decided to come back, so she supposed she could do that. She could just go back to Mrs. Canter’s the next day and ask her to look up Angela Chatsworth in her phone book and give her a call. Maybe Angela would help her get back on her feet and figure out how to make a life in this world that now felt so unfamiliar. Then, in the middle of Delilah’s mind ...
Horror
Jenn walks through the long narrow hallway that has rooms lined along each side of it. Most of the doors are closed, a lot of them with blinds covering them so that she cannot see what's inside. The air has a chill about it, and it's not just the freezing cold temperature inside the building that they all felt when they first entered. Jenn looks curiously at each door as she walks past it, wondering what the people who once occupied it must have gone through and what life must have been like for them once they became patients of this strange, cold place. She wonders if it was always strange...
