Biography
"What matters in life is not what happens to you, but what you remember and how you remember it." -Gabriel García Márquez.
My name is Peter Biggio, and I'm a writer who knows how to bring beauty to any work. I've been a writer for as long as I've been able to hold a pen (in fact, I was actually dictating stories to my mother long before that), and since then, I've developed a sense of how to use language to infuse any kind of work with life. Like any good writer, I've cultivated this skill not just in my own work but in my reading: I read widely, and my list of favorite books is an eclectic combination of science fiction epics, magical realist literary novels, theological and philosophical texts, and humorous short story collections.
After working as a professional writer for three years, I've become an expert in a wide variety of genres and topics--from humorous science fiction short stories to high fantasy novels to nonfiction books on religion. In all of my writing, however, there's one key element: an intimate concern for well-crafted language, the kind of language that will envelop a reader in a text and keep them there even after they've put the book down. I'm also an extremely adept researcher, which means that even if a topic is outside of my realm of expertise (which, as my list of niches attests below, is still rather wide), I'm able to become an expert in it in no time.
I believe that writing is, above all, a vocation. It is something that draws on one's gifts, and it should be put to the service of others and the world. For that reason, my highest priority in any assignment is maintaining a nourishing relationship with the author--making sure that they are heard, that their wishes are being followed, and that their project is being brought to life in the most complete way possible. I look forward to doing that very thing for you.

An Ordinary Day
Fluorescent lights burn into my head and the quiet clatter of metal circles me on all sides. My eyes flutter open, and, momentarily forgetting where I am, I cry out in surprise. Immediately, the creatures—horrid, putrid things as they were—spring away, yelling out in their odd, high-pitched way. Images flash in my memory, and I recall images of them dragging me from the flaming carcass of my ride and into their strange vessel. I attempt to lurch up—but steel manacles pin me to their operating table. One of the creatures, dressed in a starchy blue dress that clings to his hairy form, inches ...
Excerpt from 'Divine Love: Using the Wisdom of the Bible to Enrich Your Marriage"
Marriage is endlessly complicated. But at the core of every marriage is one impossibly simple truth: God is guiding us to love like He does. God has given us the tools to enrich our marriages with His deep, spiritual love. Though many think that it takes a lifetime to learn how to maintain a marriage, the reality is that God has prepared a path and expressed it through scripture. If you’re ready to step on that path, this book is the place to start. It might seem incredible that the Bible can have clear insights for marriages in the modern world. The worlds of Jesus, the apostles, Mos...
