Interests and hobbies

I have a great interest in films and music, especially with the technicalities and background work. Alongside that, I have a growing collection of books (Well over 40 by now and still growing!) that hold a myriad of genres such as Literary Fiction, Historical Fiction, Sci-Fi, Horror, and Thrillers.

I also enjoy writing in my free time! My fingers are always moving and my mind is always creating. I find that it keeps my mind active and opens me to more experiences. Away from that, I do love to play video games—anything from cozy games to first-person shooters are a great way to reset my mood.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I think that I am outgoing, hardworking, and have a keen eye for detail! I love tackling the nitty-gritty aspects of writing stories—especially emotions and growth—to make each character come to life.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

I approach everything with open arms, open eyes, and an open mind! I always set mental goals for the work I put out, and make sure it's full of life. I don't shy away from asking for feedback; in fact, I prefer it! It's important to me to write in a way that you find satisfactory. I would say my work could be as versatile as it can be as I like engaging with the research aspects of writing. We learn something new every day!

Why should you choose me for your project

My advantage is that I never bring out anything that I am not satisfied with. I care for my writing as much as you care for your output, so I do my best to craft it to be the very best it can be. There's no such thing as a half-hearted piece of work in my books. It's all or nothing! I take your instructions and requests to heart, making sure that I focus on what your ideal audience wants to see.

A Perfect Mask

A deep frown formed on the brow of the detective, appalled, “She fought back?” “Very likely.” Heather bit back a sound of utter despair. The victim was so young and somehow had the courage to fight back against someone five times her size. It’s hard not to be haunted by the thought, by the sight. Whenever she looked down, it was almost like her features blended into *her* face. The same face that had her smile and her eyes. The same face that had her father’s dimples and laugh. It merged painfully together. A sharp pang of guilt yanked her away from that thought. *Not now,* she ...

Secret Confession

A quiet sound is the first thing I hear as I awake from my sleep. My eyelids flutter closed at the warm lighting glowing in the bedroom. The haziness of my fatigue keeps me still as I recognize that the noise—a voice—is coming from above me. I quietly take in my surroundings, sighing slowly when I realize that Andrew had tucked me tightly against his chest. His head right above mine made me feel every vibration as he spoke. I discreetly awake without revealing it to him, shaking off enough sleep to comprehend his words, wondering why he's up so late. “—without you. And sometimes,...

Against All Odds

I feel my stress dissipate and my lips curl up into a smile. "Hey." "Hi." Her eyes are sparkling, looking particularly blue today. She raises a folder in her hand, looking sheepish. "I have something you need to sign." "Oh. Of course." I pat around my jacket and pockets, looking for a pen I always bring. "Give me a second." "I have a pen over there if you need one." She points behind her to a small tent for staff that sits next to the back of a building. She turns around and calls out from over her shoulder. "Come on." I follow behind her with no hesitation, looking over at some...

Once Again

“Do you mind telling me what you remember about… us?” “First of all, I know who you are, David.” Another smile, this time brighter and almost familiar to me. Huh. Cute. “That's me.” David scoots himself closer to his side. I do the same, now that I'm no longer confused about who the strange man may be. I reach out for his hand slowly. He looks at it for a prolonged moment before very softly wrapping our fingers—just our fingertips—together. “I know we met about twelve years ago.” I continue, keeping my eyes on our hands. The comparison between the sizes, the warmth, the feel. “...

Begin Again

There's someone yelling. A shiver wracks through his body and those tiny movements turn into stinging and pain, as sharp heat shoots down his spine and body. He coughs, his mouth coated in a sticky, metallic-tasting substance. His ears are wringing and the light is too bright. His blinks his eyes, trying to keep them open but they keep on sliding shut. The only visions coming through are blobs of colors. Blue. Red. Black. Green. White. Yellow. All of them meshing into one. He can't breathe, each inhale feels like a stab to the ribs, and every exhale squeezes out of his body almost i...
