Biography

Hello! My name is Ophelia, and I am a passionate and experienced writer who believes that words are the most honest and beautiful medium of expression.

I am a recent recipient of a Bachelor's degree in the arts, having studied English with a concentration in Creative Writing during undergrad. I also have a minor in theatre and a deep love for the performing arts. There is a special place in my heart for storytelling in all its forms.

Writing has been a consistent companion in my life since I was a little girl. I was always drawn to high fantasy novels, namely the Harry Potter series, as a means of escape when reality started to weigh on me. Though I developed a specific affinity towards fiction writing, I also found that I loved non-fiction writing as well. Any opportunity to write was worth seizing.

In my years as a student, I've written within a number of fiction genres, including:

- Fantasy
- Romance
- Mystery
- Science Fiction
- Historical Drama
- Young Adult

As for non-fiction, I have experience in:

- Rhetorical Analysis
- Literary Analysis
- History
- Biography & Memoirs
- Reviews

And, as icing on the cake, I have experience with specialized types of writing such as screenplays and stage plays.

With all the writing I have done in my life, seeing an idea come to fruition has always been a fulfilling experience. I hope to help you achieve that feeling as well.

The song that leaves their beaks is mournful. Their black feathers rustle in the autumn wind, then fly away, pulling against the cobblestone streets, reminiscent of a priest’s inky robes. Then comes the silence. There is a heaviness in the air, the kind brought upon by vengeful phantoms seeking closure for their suffering. Born on the bitter winds of February 1692 was a paranoia that would pl...
