Allow Me to Write Your Vision into Reality!
Biography
I consider myself an “Appellation Alchemist”: I am passionate about organizing and distilling philosophies, thoughts, and ideas into literary gold.
With a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies, the heart of my career is studying the languages, mythologies, and folklore from Ancient Greek, Egyptian, Roman, Norse, Celtic, and Middle Eastern traditions. I have always loved fairy tales, mythology, and folklore; and my love has grown in proportion to my knowledge and expertise.
I have written dozens of academic papers and surveyed the psychological implications and applications of mythology and folklore through journal articles and essay-writing. I have also written several historical fiction pieces, exploring fairy tales and ancient myths in modern contexts (as in Neil Gaiman’s 'American Gods').
I learned about copywriting by dipping my toe into the world of long-form sales letters. This was beneficial for my writing in general because I gained a deep appreciation for researching the intended audience for a given piece, as well as understanding how to craft compelling, reader-driven content.
I have been a voracious reader since I was a small child. When I was 3, I read Dr. Suess’ 'Hop on Pop' until I had memorized every rhyme and the pages were falling from the spine… And I never stopped reading! I often have several books going at once: a non-fiction reference book, something about self-improvement or productivity, and a novel.
Today, my favorites are 'The Ten-Thousand Doors of January' by, Alex E. Harrow (novel) and 'Existential Kink' by, Carolyn Elliot (self-improvement).
Writing and reading are my first loves, but, additionally, I spent more than 15 years of my life as a professional pastry chef; developed my green thumb as a professional gardener; and am always caring for and working with dogs.
It brings me massive joy to help others realize both their dreams and realities on the page. My love of learning new things, patience for meticulous research, and desire to enlighten the world to new perspectives enable me to deliver content that is thorough, concise, and clear. My attention to detail and tone shapes my writing to the voice and message of my clients. I believe in close contact with clients to guarantee their personalities are reflected in the final work. (And I take deadlines seriously!)

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I love to create opportunities for readers to gain new perspectives through writing and language.
My life's goal is to help others find their best selves: helping them gain insight into their lives from which to make educated and calculated changes for self-knowledge and improvement.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I work well under pressure!
I love to research and gather a thorough base of information for writing projects. My preference is to gather enough information that I can critcally analyze sources and choose the best, most relevant, and accurate information; but I also like to have an idea of all schools of thought on a subject. I create a project outline, and then flesh out the body of writing using the research I have compiled.
I think of myself as methodical and organized. I prefer to work in the order and flow of the project, as outlined, to maintain cohesion and build upon the previous chapters for the benefit and comprehension of the reader.
Why should you choose me for your project
I am here to serve you and your project. I believe I am able to adopt my clients' voice and develop their content - on their terms.
I am happy to edit, make changes, and I take constructive criticism well.
My goal is to make sure my clients are satisfied with the end result, whatever it takes.

Ancient Underworld Geography
Assuming the Underworld was a physical location, there were potentially accessible entrances from the known world; although passage was usually limited to heroes, others possessing magical or super-human capabilities, or required specific assistance or permission from the Olympian gods. In Homer’s Odyssey, he locates an entrance on the coast of Africa, “And she made the outer limits, the Ocean River’s bounds where Cimmerian people have their homes… we picked our way by the Ocean’s banks until we gained the place that Circe made our goal (The Odyssey, Book 11: Lines 15-16, 24).” Virgil locat...
Magical Creation: Ritual Artwork from Desert Sands
Ancient Egyptian amulets and votive offerings are often interpreted as saturated in symbolic meaning which arises not only from the subject, but which may also be associated with and amplified by the material used to fabricate the piece. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the magical implications involved with creating ritual objects from a composite material, this paper analyzes faience. Focusing on hippopotamus imagery to engage discussion regarding the composite anthropomorphic goddess, Taweret, the goal is to determine whether the subject of an object is indeed influenced and in...
