Hi, I'm Eliza.

I have lived many lives:

A victim of childhood sexual abuse; abandoned by my mother at 18; gave birth to my first child at 19; homeless and sofa surfing for a month with my young baby; worked in retail for over 10 years where I was promoted to duty manager and team leader; I have escaped domestic abuse; persevered through an arduous sexual abuse trial; completed my degree and earning qualifications in writing; started my own freelance writing and editing business; joined platforms like this one to work the job of my dreams; discovered the joy of self-help and personal development; found a love for health and fitness amongst everything else; I have THRIVED as a writer and single mother to three wonderful human beings.

I am so excited to see what the next chapter of my life brings. Here’s to ever changing and ever growing!

Interests and hobbies

I love to read and write! I love a good mystery or a romance book, along with anything supernatural, horror, and thrilling.

I have three children so lots of my spare time is devoted to bike riding, baking, and taking them to sports.

In the last two years, I have dedicated myself to personal development, fitness, and health.

Eliza did a fabulous job with editing an exisiting book to convert written activity sections to prose. She perfectly matched the original writer's voice and style, and her writing flowed smoothly and seamlessly with in the framework of the original work where the new sections were needed. Her ability to step into the other writer’s voice and style is amazing and I was impressed with her ability in making what I considered a difficult task look effortless. Having received the editing result, I have asked her to go on to right a full 50,000 word book in the same author's voice as the next project for which the edit was the test case.
