Hello! My name is Sunflower Bee, and I am a qualified creative content writer.
I don’t know if people are born writers or if it’s a skill that is acquired with experience and education, but what I do know is that for as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by stories and the art of writing.
My passion for captivating an audience drove me to acquire a BA Degree in Motion Picture Medium. Together with my aspirations and impeccable work ethic, I have managed to create a colorful writing career!
Professionally, I have worked as an editor and writer for media platforms, delivering articles on topics such as relationships, parenting, and entertainment news. Since joining The Urban Writers, I've completed a combination of over 600 manuscripts and professional book descriptions.
Here are some of the niches I can/have written:
• Entertainment
• Self-Help
• Instructional guides and How-To’s
• Habit and Goal Development/Achievement
• Relationships and Parenting
• Health and Fitness
• Autobiographies/Biographies
• Professional book descriptions
Speaking of books, I cannot help but recommend a few masterpieces: if you love fiction, then I suggest you read Searching for Eternity by Elizabeth Musser. If you’re on a spiritual journey, then Disappointment with God by Phillip Yancey is a perfect read! Alternatively, please read Hill of Fools by novelist R.L. Peteni. It tells a raw and authentic fictional love story set in ancient South Africa.
As a writer, I have dedicated my time to honing my skills and ensuring that I am always on top of my game! I always aim to bring my research, creative, and relationship-building skills together to ensure that every project is brought to life!
I am really excited to find out how I can be of service to you and look forward to delivering exhaustive, excellent, and distinctive work within my given timeframe.
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
With a BA in Motion Picture Medium (Script & Creative Writing) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice, I bring a rare blend of storytelling and business strategy to every project. I write copy that doesn’t just sound good, it drives decisions.
I’m also TEFL-certified, giving me strong language, communication, and audience-adaptation skills essential for persuasive writing across global markets.
On The Urban Writers platform, I’ve successfully completed 700+ client orders, including:
*High-converting professional book descriptions
*Full manuscripts & ghostwriting projects
*Out-of-scope specialized writing assignments
Each order reflects the same commitment: strategic creativity, reliable delivery, and copy that sells the experience behind the product.
Interests and hobbies
When I’m not writing, I’m most likely reading, experimenting in the kitchen, or watching content that’s simply fun and engaging. I love spending time with my family, whether we’re relaxing, eating together, or just enjoying each other’s company.
I also have a growing interest in gardening, and I enjoy taking peaceful walks to recharge. One craft I’d love to explore next is candle-making, as I believe that something is calming and rewarding about creating something from scratch.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
Picture the steadiness of the ocean with the force of a flame; that’s how I show up in life and work. Grounded, passionate, and resilient, I bring intensity and purpose to every project.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I treat every project like it’s my own, while still keeping it a true collaboration with the client. My goal isn’t just to deliver what you asked for—but to give you something better than you expected, delivered on time and built on trust.
Why should you choose me for your project
I treat your project like it matters, because it does. You get creative, persuasive, on-brand copy/manuscript that’s delivered on time, built through collaboration, and designed to sell the experience behind your product, not just the product itself.
As a Certified Dibbly Expert with 700+ completed orders, I guarantee human-written, fully compliant copy with zero AI risk. My specialty is maximizing sales through compelling language and targeted SEO, creating that “I have to read this” moment for your audience. I don’t just describe, I convert browsers into buyers by making them feel the value, entertainment, or transformation your project offers.
Let’s build something high-value, fast, and unforgettable!

A customer · 2.8 · December 2024
After accepting her to the job and providing the necessary background/brief, I did not hear from her until the project deadline and she needed an extension for being ill. I totally understand getting sick but when you freelance one should inform the customer an extension is necessary ASAP, not after the fact. After resetting on the target audience and tone, she did make all the necessary changes to deliver on brief work.

A customer · 5.0 · September 2023
Sunflower was speedy and worked well to get my order completed in the time promise. Highly recommend!
A customer · 2.3 · September 2023
In the beginning, Sunflower was communicating well, once the editor was brought in, we had to wait and wait for her to go back and make the edits, but she did not. The editor had to do it as I was continually communicating with her to please return and make the edits so that we could move forward. She did not respond. I was not pleased with the initial description provided, it did not flow and did not reflect my book. I had to write it myself. Disappointed that she just disappeared at the end of the process. I was willing to work with her, but she did not respond in the final stages.

The writer did not follow the outline and omitted important details. The writer was very resistant to feedback when I inquired about her submission. A customer · 5.0 · September 2022
This was my first time working with this copywriter and she was excellent! Great communication throughout the creation of my 'Book Description'. The whole process took only 6 days - which is so important because once I have written my book, I want to go to publishing asap. The last time I used a copywriter through TUW - it took them 6 weeks to write the book description which was awful. I'm so glad I found this copywriter! Excellent work and efficient too! 👍
