Biography
“I write for the same reason I breathe … because if I didn’t, I would die.” – Isaac Asimov
My name is Thalia and I have been working in the writing industry for over a decade. I recently went back to school to finish my degree in elementary education, but as much as I love teaching, it wasn't the best job for me. Writing is my passion, and I count myself lucky to be able to earn a living with it.
One of the things I love the most about writing is getting lost in the both the writing process and the book itself. I enjoy in-depth research for a nonfiction tome as much as I enjoy writing down the stories that the fictional characters in a novel share with me. I suppose it's only natural that I developed a love of writing. I'm also a voracious reader and have been known to finish books in less than a day. I could never pick just one book as a favorite, but I do tend to favor dystopian, romance, and nonfiction books.
In addition to reading, I love traveling. There are few things more exciting than getting to explore the world, and I feel like each place I've visited has helped to develop my writing skills. At the very least, traveling gives me new experiences to draw inspiration from!
I take pride in my work and make it a point to never work on anything that I can't give my full attention. Focusing on one book at a time gives me the chance to meet all of a client's directions while also providing prompt results.
If you think we would make a good team, take a minute to check out the genres I've enjoyed writing in the past. If yours isn't on there, don't worry. I'm adaptable and love branching out into new areas of expertise. I look forward to working together to bring your ideas to life!

Mixing Business With Pleasure
Stepping out of the car, Jessica ran her hands down her sides in a last-ditch effort to smooth the wrinkles out of her pale blue dress. She knew she shouldn’t have listened to her roommate when he told her the wrinkles would go away on their own if she just hung the dress up in their bathroom and filled it with steam. What would Mark know about wrinkles anyway? After all, he practically lived in the same paint-splattered jeans and ratty band shirt. She just hoped a few little creases wouldn’t stop her from making a good impression during her interview. She took a few calming breaths and hea...
