Biography

I am a skilled writer with a very diverse background. My writing career was honed during the years I spent in India, where I initially stayed as a consecutive interpreter and language assistant in a humanitarian environment. Having always had a writer in me, also there I wrote about several subjects. Some of my writings were published, some were of a more personal nature, shared with friends.

During that time I authored two books about Indian culture and philosophy as a ghostwriter, which were published. I also wrote several travel related articles, inspirational articles of human nature, blog entries related to design and space harmonizing, and many other topics. I translated two books, autobiographies in the form of contemporary narrative, working closely with the authors, and edited the writing of others. I participated in composing various texts for educational books, brochures, interviews and was during that time, also invited to be part of a Think Tank, more due to the perspective I brought in, than to the deep matter knowledge of the topic at hand.

Always having been an avid reader, during my years in India I read local contemporary writers as well as many classical works on Advaita Vedanta, Sanatana Dharma, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam, which have given me a rich background that allows me to understand human nature and different cultures from their own perspective, which I find interesting and extremely enrichening. I came across and enjoyed rare pearls of local poetry, historical narration as well as contemporary narrative.

My years in India came to an end, and I returned a different person. During the long years in India, and the many journeys I undertook during that time through Southeast Asia, I matured both as a person and as a writer. I acquired not just experience and background knowledge in diverse fields, but I also developed deep insights due to my exposure to different cultures and to people with different backgrounds. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling as well as yoga, arts and cooking. I have a soft spot for children, and for tales and stories.

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

I began my literary journey as a linguistic Interpreter in a humanitarian setting. Eventually, authors who attended some of the conferences and events where I worked requested my translation services for their books. Soon I found myself translating their works, while also writing several articles of my own.

Over time, I became assistant as well as ghostwriter of one of the conference speakers I worked with as his translator. This led to the publication of two books on personal development and philosophy I wrote about his conferences in his name, and this was my beginning as a ghostwriter.

Due to life circumstances, I joined the corporate world for a while. There, I acquired expertise in SEO practices, and so I spezialise in SEO writing.

As I am personally interested in Self-help, Personal Development, and Health and Well-being, I also take on ghostwriting in non-fiction. I have read a lot about these topics, and that gives me a good base to become your pen, and work with the resources of your choice.

I also like to write Travel articles, as I am deeply interest in different cultures, especially ancestral ones.

My academic background includes studies in Spanish and English Literature in the University in Berlin, Germany.

Interests and hobbies

Travel, Nature, Yoga - these are my passions.

I also love reading historical fiction, which show me different realities, as well as reading up on ancestral cultures and their belief and healing systems. Some of my favorite books are narratives based on travels and different cultures, written by journalists and historians.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

As a person, I am ever curious of other cultures, of other minds, and deeply care for life in all of its forms. I am engaged in whatever I do, which leads to experiencing the richness of life even in troubled times.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

My approach to my work is objective and professional, and I enjoy the different phases of the work: I deep dive into the research, and get inspired during the writing phase into a creative flow. My engagement with each project ensure that writing never feels like a routine task, but rather a collaborative journey of discovery alongside my client.

Why should you choose me for your project

I am a versatile writer with hands-on experience in the fields I specialize in, but my curiosity drives me to embrace also new topics and explore different areas. I approach each writing task with deep involvement and dedication, which consistently leads to high-quality results. I can say that my clients have always expressed satisfaction, and I believe that when we invest ourselves fully in something, the outcome is always good!

From the booklet Satsang, published in India

Once it happened that two snakes got into a fight and one of them was badly injured. A boy that was passing by saw the injured snake and started nursing it. The other snake saw how his enemy was being cared for and, overtaken by anger and jealousy, wanted to attack the boy. The injured snake was watching what was happening, and with a last effort reared up and helped the boy. So even animals have a spirit of sacrifice.

A Postcard from Kahmandu

The taxi took a mere 20 minutes through the noisy, polluted traffic of Kathmandu, where my plane had landed, until it reached Boudhanath, the second greatest settlement of Tibetans outside of Tibet. After settling into the simple but clean and airy concrete room of the nepalese guest house in Boudhanath, I decided to immediately explore the place, in order to find something to eat. I had not eaten anything at all besides a tepid morning tea in the guest-house in Thamel, the touristic area of Kathmandu, where I had spent my first night. It had not been a lucky choice and after a rather s...

Love and Purity: Advaita Vedanta

This shadow mind goes through different phases, sometimes it is happy, sometimes unhappy, depending upon what it wants in life. But, one thing is certain: the mind does not want to seek its Reality. Actually, the entire problem in life arises due to one´s mistaken identity. Mind will automatically become pure, stable and peaceful if we understand our real identity, even intellectually. Today there are clouds, so the sky cannot be seen. The clouds are passing clouds, but the sky is permanent. There is no relationship whatsoever between the passing clouds and the permanent sky. Still, the clo...
