My name is.
I am an avid reader and experienced writer who also happens to have an English degree.
I began reading at four and my primary goal in life from that age was to be an author. I grew up devouring every book I could get my hands on as well as nurturing a keen writing habit from my early teens.
My favorite authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald and Eva Ibbotson. I find their understanding and construction of language to be marvelous and I intend on following in their footsteps.
I have numerous hobbies such as surfing and martial arts but my true love lies with writing.
I have been writing informally for years in a variety of genres..
I delve into both fiction and non-fiction genres.
I am highly competent in romance, mystery, fantasy, science fiction, teen, and young adult.
I am also very interested in the non-fiction genres specifically history, biographies, memoirs, self-help, and relationships.
I find writing to be not only intoxicating but also incredibly peaceful. There is little in the world that grants you the ability to delve into a world that is not entirely your own and create magic and life from the foundations up. That escape and freedom from reality entice the writer to a place of peace, an outlet from stress.
