Biography

Hello there. I am Johnny Midas. I am a freelance writer from South Africa who has a good eye for storytelling and detail. My hobbies and interests include professional wrestling, movies and T.V shows, filmmaking, superheroes (as evidenced by the background image on my profile), food, comedy, learning, myths and legends, reading, and writing, hence why I became a freelance writer. I enjoy writing because it helps me to express my emotions better than talking about them and it is the best way for someone to record their thoughts and feelings. My education includes my National Senior Certificate, an Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management course, and an Introduction to Psychology course that I completed through Coursera. The niches that I enjoy most are history, comedy, biographies and memoirs, self-help, humor and entertainment, and science and technology, specifically psychology. The kind of books that I enjoy reading are fiction books, specifically fantasy and mystery books.

Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications

My education includes my National Senior Certificate, an Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management course, and an Introduction to Psychology course that I completed through Coursera. Before joining the Urban Writers, my writing experience was mainly limited to writing I had to do for school and college. However, my work was acclaimed because it was well-written and comprehensive.

How I'd describe my personality in two sentences

I'm a kind-hearted young man who is wise beyond my years. I'm also a very imaginative and analytical person, which allows me to have a unique perspective on many things in life.

How I'd describe my approach to my work

Firstly, I would research the topic that I will write about, as well as various aspects related to the topic, like advantages and disadvantages, for example. Then, I would plan out the order in which I will write the various sections of the manuscript so that each section flows logically from one to another. I would then plan out what information will be written in each section. After the planning is done, I would then start writing the manuscript. As I am writing, I will regularly refer to the research that I'd done previously. Once I've finished writing the manuscript, I will make sure that everything is formatted correctly before handing it over for editing.

In my free time, I write for two reasons: to convey my emotions and to tell a story. I am a good storyteller and I can help you to use your project to tell a good story.
