I am a hoarder of the written word, often seeking the whispered musings of authors better than I.
Biography
I studied photography as my initial study experience, but have since gone back to study English, writing, marketing and others. I have ghostwritten for a lovely older gentleman, who wanted his stories on paper for his children and grandchildren.
I love writing, because I enjoy escaping into a world that is the furtherest thing from reality. I love ghostwriting, because it allows me to hear others stories and their thoughts. My preferred niches/genres are usually YA, Fantasy, Poetry, Sci-Fi, Classics and Biography.
I do have a problem with knowing when to stop reading and was often grounded as a child, where my mother would ground me from my books and force me to go play outside... the absolute horror. I do enjoy curling up with a good fantasy book that tells stories of Fae, dragons and witches. It would be a bonus if it fell into the realm of LGTBQIA+
Previous experience, degrees, and qualifications
I have ghostwritten a memoir for an elderly gentleman who wanted his life story written down for his children, as his health was deteriorating and he didn't want to leave them behind without a tangible memory. I have written for a few writing competitions and have had the privilege of having a story of mine published in an omnibus. I have also had the privilege of writing a few book reviews that were received quite well.
Interests and hobbies
I love crocheting and am an old lady at heart. I enjoy reading until I forget to do crucial things, like eat. I do enjoy writing both fiction and poetry.
I enjoy art, and often will try to find the time to paint, expressing myself with the worlds that I try to create.
I am an avid geek and nerd.
I love collecting random facts and get rather excited about sharing them.
I do not get along well with maths, but find myself hopelessly drawn to maths games, puzzles and sudoku. Essentially, I am a walking oxymoron.
How I'd describe my personality in two sentences
I am a stubborn, sarcastic and sassy person who has a good heart and only ever wants to help people. I do have a short tolerance for people who are unsavoury and if my mouth doesn't say it, my face definitely will, she needs deliverance.
How I'd describe my approach to my work
I am quite meticulous and will ask a dozen questions to ensure that I am doing something correctly. I love researching and will often dive head first down the rabbit hole when I've found a project that captures my interest. I am very proud of the work that I do and often look for constructive criticism on how I can improve the work that I do put out. I try my utmost best to ensure that the quality of work that I give back is what was wanted and will do everything in my ability to tweak it until it is satisfactory.
Why should you choose me for your project
I will treat your project as though it were my own little treasure, ensuring that it is dealt with, with the utmost respect. I will ensure that I am doing everything in my power to give you what you're looking for. I will work to give you your vision and if I fall short, I will just keep going back until I have managed to ensure that your vision is met. I am hardworking and enjoy what I do, and I love learning new things, which allows me to fall into a project easily because I do not harbour biased views. I am able to separate my own views from the projects that I work on, to ensure that the client brief is met.

Bookish Review: Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern
I won’t lie and say that this book didn’t grip me, but I won’t hesitate in saying that for about 511 of those pages I was internally screaming at Rosie and Alex as they made one stupid mistake after another! 511 PAGES AND SO MANY YEARS LATER… and what do we get!? A FREAKING!!!!! Well, you’ll just have to read that for yourselves. If I had to suffer through the blind stupidity of Alex Stewart and Rosie Dunne, then so will you. It’s a good book, and reading about the other characters is a welcome blast of fresh air. At least they aren’t blinded by blissful stupidity. Love, Rosie by Cecelia...
Bookish Review: Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golding
I would love to hear about Hatsumomo’s story and find out why she turned out the way that she did. I wanted to know what drove her – why she acted the way that she did. I wanted to read about Mameha and how she felt when she had to go through her own training and ordeals. I wanted to know more about Nobu and his life before he laid eyes on Sayuri. I longed to hear more about the characters that weren’t really the main character. Personally – I believe that you should build up all your characters – not only focusing on the biased views of your main character.
The Journey By Brian Alberts
An ageing man once said: “All the good things that could have happened to me have happened and I would now exchange the summer of my seventeenth year for all these withering days.” King Lear, whilst dividing his kingdom amongst his daughter Goneril, Reagan and Cordelia, explained his actions by stating; “I would rather place the realm in the hands of my daughters that I might crawl, unencumbered to towards death.” So, age brings time to pass and I will now make use of that time to make these few jottings. In fact, my grandchildren often ask me to write down my ‘funny stories’. I decided to...
