Okay, Mark Twain didn't actually say that, I did. Speaking of which, I'm Atticus, and I'm a writer for TUW Writing Team! I've been writing more or less my entire life, and have been doing it in a professional capacity for several years.
I've always been drawn to writing, ever since I was a small child. My parents still have ancient, torn-up notebooks filled with old drafts for stories and characters that I would write as a child, and my love for writing has only grown since then. My original love was, and still is, fiction. Specifically, I'm a huge fan of fantasy and science fiction. I love stories that take human beings, with all our beauty and flaws, and place us into fantastic and alien worlds. That said, I'm a fan of any kind of fiction, and have written everything from sci-fi and fantasy to historical fiction and modern romance.
Of course, I've written quite a bit of nonfiction as well. In fact, I have extensive experience working professionally in nonfiction categories. My first professional writing job was as a journalist, where I was responsible for researching and writing articles on a variety of topics. I also have extensive experience working with SEO. I was an SEO blogger for two years, which gave me a lot of experience in drafting topics, doing research, and optimizing word choice.
Writing is the love of my life (don't tell my girlfriend I said that). I've spent my life exploring my passion for storytelling, be that a fictional narrative or a nonfiction work. Whether you need research, facts, and data for a nonfiction work, or sprawling worldbuilding and fantastical characters for a piece of fiction, I am eager to work with you. I will bring my all to the project, and I can't wait to help bring your vision to life!
